Only 2 wicks and 13 inbounds. Will need crosswicking at the very least.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI Thought It Meant that dropped bread always lands with the buttered side down, which is a trope all by itself.
Yeah. I don't know if that's strictly tropeworthy, as it's a toast-specific version of Finagle's Law.
... that was a weird sentence.

Strictly speaking, I think the former is more tropeworthy (akin to The Blade Always Lands Pointy End In), but I don't... really think it's true. Most of the iconic falling deaths I can think of has the guy on his back.

As for the trope, I'm not sure which direction a guy lands after he falls off a building is tropeworthy.
Can't add this as a Mythbusters example because it has nothing to do with butter or toast.
I fail to see how those two things are tropes at all. Cut.

At best, it's trivia, but it's such useless trivia, this page doesn't even need to exist.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.....really, I cannot for the life of me see how either of those definitions are a trope. Cut plz
I think I agree that cutting is the best way to go.
I don't think it's often mentioned which way people fall.
I would support cutting this.

Hooked.
Calling for a cut.

Crown Description:
Neither the trope's definition of stuntmen falling on their backs, nor the term's actual meaning pertaining to the way toast falls, are tropeworthy. As such, this page should be cut.
First off, the name is incredibly obtuse. Want to play Guess The Trope? It's in fact about stuntmen falling onto their backs when they make a long fall. Apparently, this definition is due to massive Trope Decay, too. The Discussion page says that the trope was originally about "when someone falls, they're always shown face down" which is pretty much unrelated to the trope as it is now.
A whopping two wicks.
The examples are also a mess. Due to the two (more or less opposite) definitions, the examples are pretty much "guy falls" without really clarifying with no consistency as to whether they fall face down or up (if there's context at all).
Also, whoever wrote a few of the examples has no idea what "canonical" means.
