Fun with Acronyms is about getting acronyms to spell funny or meaningful (or not so much) words. 1.1 doesn't do that. 1.2 is much more text than the current. ASCRAC > IRONHEART. Keep Until Better Image Suggested.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Keep the current. It's not an inconprehensible squiggle, it's a submarine-ish thing.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Keep Until Better Image Suggested, and the suggestions are just text as far as I can tell.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI agree. The image shows a funny acronym, both abbreviated and in full; the caption just supplements it, which is what a caption is supposed to do. Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
Pinball cleanup threadThe current is fine.
The description of the current in the OP fits the suggestions in the OP better than the current. Except in those the images aren't even relevant at all, so they're worse.
Check out my fanfiction!Would an image of an Self-Deprecation acronym poem be better? Like, an acronym of TVTROPES that blatantly insults the wiki. We could write it, is what I'm suggesting.
We don't really need an image for that, but if you have an idea to use in the description, then by all means, go ahead.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Well, I just meant that it's a textual trope, so the image would be mostly-if-not-all text, I thought. (Plus I'm not familiar enough with the wiki to successfully do that on my own anyway.)
I have no love lost for the current image, but it does illustrate the trope.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Maybe this might help. It's a higher-def version of OP's suggestion. Unfortunately, I don't have time to try editing this anytime soon. [1]

Wrong thread. I think you meant to post that here.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Yeah. My bad. Thanks for posting the image for me. /embarrassed
Keep the current. Don't change a thing.
This example from Bob and George is more straight-forward.
'Cause you're going home You're running free As only you would be If you never owed them anythingI don't think its more clear. It's on par, but I don't think it needs changing.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I know I like it better, mostly because I don't like the current one. However it should definitely include the "Fairly Aimless RPG Talk Show" line below it.
ETA: On second thought, it is objectively better because "Fairly Aimless RPG Talk Show" now only makes a funny acronym (the whole point of the trope) but it also rolls off the tongue without sounding like Word Salad. By the trope's own admission that is the 'best of both worlds'.

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Yeah, the only way that makes sense is if we include the title.
I like the Bob And George pic (yes, including its title), it's much better than the current.

The last two panels along with the strip's title could work.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I don't know, do we really need yet another overly wordy comic panel? We've been relying on those too much lately and we could easily find something more straightforward for a trope like this.
Futurama: [1]◊
A more subtle one from The Simpsons: [2]◊
And saving the best for last: [3]◊
If I had the time, I'd search for even more.
I like the Futurama one best because it's a TV show itself. The third is probably my least favourite, actually.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I like the Futurama one best so far.
Futurama one is good. Bonus points for Hypocritical Humor.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
The picture on Fun with Acronyms is an incomprehensible squiggle with text describing an acronym for it. The text does all the work, the image adds nothing.
I would suggest something from a comic, like this◊ or that one.
