A villain protagonist who's sympathetic too!
I shouldn't really think hard about Inside Out, since the characters clearly have their own emotions, does that mean they themselves have their own Joy etc.?
Sandvich! (Yes)
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."Apparently, the name of the Italian town the two main characters visit in the upcoming Pixar film Luca is "Portorosso." Gee, that name sounds awfully familiar...gimme a minute and it'll come to me...
"The name of this town is a reference to Studio Ghibli's Porco Rosso, which the film will pay homage to."
Did not know that!

Its like asking, can personifications have personifications of their own?
In this case I think not, since they're the personifications of Rily's emptions she is in turn their personification,if that makes sense
New theme music also a boxWell, one of the "Cinque terre" (five lands; literally the area where Luca appear to take place) is Monterosso (literally: redmountain), so it's not such a strange name especially since in Italian it literally means "Redharbor"

There isn't an impossible dream, there are only people who give upNot a strange name at all. A perfectly legitimate name. But it also sounds a great deal like "Porco Rosso,'' which is the lead character and title of a well known Hayao Miyazaki film, of which I'm absolutely sure the folks at Pixar are aware. I doubt it's an accident.
I'd say the reference is pretty clear (it helps that Porco Rosso is set in Italy too, although in another part of the country)
There isn't an impossible dream, there are only people who give upI just realized something kinda funny. Luca is like a family-friendly prequel to Shadow of Innsmouth from the perspective of the Deep Ones.

Ahh now I remember, so it was Disney that has that "phone bad" boomer logic short right? I forgot the name of it.
So what are y'all thinking here on how Disney Channel handled Amphibia's season 2 finale where after letting the crew hype it up as much as possible and even giving a promo indicating it would air today, it suddenly made a last minute delay for True Colors less than 24 hours before it was supposed to air? Delaying is one thing but doing it so close to the premiere and not several days in advance really does raise questions on who's running the network.
It's strange to say the least. I mean, Disney has delayed premieres before (like with "First Responders to the Rescue" , "Camp Fancy/Nancy's Vanity D'Art" , "Never Roar Again" , and all the Elena of Avalor episodes from summer 2020) , but that was for real life issues. The first and second involved storms being released at around the same time as various hurricanes, and they were moved by 2-3 weeks. The third involved crocodiles and would've been released just after an alligator killed a child in real life, but was moved from June to November. The fourth was because of the pandemic. "True Colors" doesn't have any of those excuses since it was completely ready long before May 1 and nothing controversial happened that could have potentially delayed it. Disney could have released it today.

they're hurriedly revising the ending because test audiences didn't like Marcy's betrayal
joking but you never know...
New theme music also a boxUpdated version of the new Snow White ride at Disneyland revealed.
Changes in the first half of the ride look fine, but the 2nd half feels very crammed.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationSo with that Amphibia iTunes leak fallout (don't ask about that, please) I have to think Disney TVA leadership is trying to lobby Disney TV's chairman to move the division out of Disney Channel so that they no longer have to be under their clueless execs' mercy.
They should've been relocated to Disney TV Studios after the Fox merger.

"The devil's got all the good gear. What's God got? The Inspiral Carpets and nuns. Fuck that." - Liam GallagherWhat happened?
The Protomen enhanced my life.Apparently Disney Channel forgot to tell Apple that the season finale would not air as planned, so guess what happened....
"The devil's got all the good gear. What's God got? The Inspiral Carpets and nuns. Fuck that." - Liam GallagherThe episode's release was postponed and then posted on Itunes anyway

Disney Channel's really confusing me now. I know it wasn't a scheduling issue since Mr Braly said it wasn't so I'm more baffled for why it got delayed now.
Would not surprise me if this is about prioritizing tropey teencoms over everything else.
"The devil's got all the good gear. What's God got? The Inspiral Carpets and nuns. Fuck that." - Liam GallagherThen it be weird given how Amphibia usually gets better ratings than those teen coms nowadays.
Executives often have a weird disconnect on what they think is doing well. They basically become convinced that this one particular series is popular and will completely ignore all evidence to the contrary.
You should actually blame Joy for her actions were truly the ones making things worse. Finally a Pixar work with a true Villain Protagonist
