Random question, but beyond the super brief version in House of Mouse, did Wayne Allwine or any of Mickey's later actors ever record other versions of "Minnie's Yoo Hoo" beyond the original few?

No. Aside from the version in the cartoon there was one recording done in 1930 and another in the late 60s (used in the credits of The Mouse Factory). There really aren't any other recordings out there.

And I'm not sure who did record the one in the cartoon. I don't think it's Walt.

Some quick cross-referencing on Wikipedia suggests it might have been Carl Stalling, who helped compose the song.

Question about Disney +, do you think they will pool all of their movies and series from every single property there too, or just the Disney/Pixar ones? Like, The Nightmare before Christmas was originally under Touchstone cos they thought it didn't fit the Disney image...

[up] On the one hand, I agree Disney is quite powerful already. On the other it would be nice to find them all in one place, even the ones currently on Hulu which, oops, unless you are in the US you are screwed.

[up] Sorry. Forget what I said.

I thought you were talking about live-action remakes.

I've had it up to here with those.

And since it's a zero-context link, Minnie Mouse's voice actor passed away at the age of 75. :c

Jesus.

What an odd cosmic coincidence it is that it's been about a decade since Wayne Allwine, her husband, died. Now she's followed him...

(I can only wonder what it's going to mean for The Simpsons as well...)

A very sad coincidence. A prominent figure in many people's childhoods.

I've only just found about this. I'm very sad she's gone. Russi was a great Minnie Mouse, she provided a lot of childhood voices for me and for that I'm eternally grateful for all the work she's done. But I'm now left wondering who's going to replace her? I...really am gonna miss her...

I'll miss her too. Besides Minnie, she was the voice of a lot of my favorite childhood cartoon characters, most prominently in G1 My Little Pony.

I want Disney to give a great tribute for this woman. I want them to air Totally Minnie again on Disney Channel. The reason is because Totally Minnie as a franchise brought her and Alwine together.

[up][up] I think it's less scars are evil and more that Scar is trying to emotionally manipulate Kion and there's a definite possibility the poison used in the attack might be affecting him.

Also, there was seemingly a timeskip and Kion might be in his teenager phase.

I fully expect Kion to come out of this a hero and with even more respect to his own powers.
