Well I think ironwood also make a exemption because there wasnt any other way: Ironwood can just said "by the way if you see a girl in red, let pass" and he didnt much abotu what was happen.

if anything that kinda show Ironwood(and anyone else) lack of experience to dealing with stuff without Ozpin comand around.

No, I mean I'm legit wondering whether Ironwood had specific exemptions in place to ensure his allies wouldn't be hung out to dry. I'm not talking "Let Beacon students pass". Giving clearance for Qrow is a logical move since his role in the brotherhood was traveling around the world, delivering intel and other important things. He's also the one that took up the task of locating the next Oz incarnation, and we know that Oz uses the Headmaster system to ensure his safety during periods of reincarnation. So he could have left instructions involving providing an escort to Atlas for a young man carrying Long Memory and providing a specific code to identify himself.

I mean, it's also quite possible all of this was simply the result of the worst possible commander being in charge of enforcing the blockade. And her simply refusing to acknowledge or double-check things, and only allowing Atlas citizens like Weiss to enter the kingdom. It could very well be that Ironwood gave Qrow and anyone with him clearance, and that just got ignored.

I mean Qrow get loss for months and is clear Qrow have a way to do things without consulting with anyone else except Ozpin, is probably the two just part ways without saying a thing.

That and the last time Qrow and Ironwood were together, he made it look like he was going to kill him.

Given his character and him going against Ozpin's back, it'd make some sense for him not to have Oz and Qrow on his "yes-fly" list, especially since its implied that this Ozcarnation was a lot faster than most other Ozcarnations.

Your really stretching with the Qrow part at the start dude.

That and is hard to said were and how Qrow will get, is clear both of them par tway and just move, between that and not being the best of friends(or being friends at all really), it seen both didnt comunicate that much.

Then how about intentionally destroying his tech and picking a fight with Winter while being drunk?

Yeah, we tend to forget that Qrow isnt a people person, he provoke a fight against winter and them verbally atack Ironwood, he was kind of a dick in general.

I not saying james hate qrow but I can get he would just...fillter him out after all the mess he is dealing with.

A lot of that was motivated by James backstabbing Ozpin and moving Atlesean troops into vale given his words.

Plus Ironwood himself doesn't seem to have any harsh feelings to Qrow given after seeing him again he just gave him a hug.

Uh......that's...uh.....kind of really stretching things and I'm not sure how you came to such a negative conclusion.

The last time the core members of the brotherhood together was Qrow and Glynda teaming up with Ironwood. Qrow pulls a Stab the Scorpion with Ironwood pleading that he isn't the one attacking Beacon, and Qrow saving his life and immediately reassuring him that he KNOWS that.

I'm really not sure how you could get any sort of negative relationship between them, when we get Old Men Hugging. Ironwood is literally so relieved to see Qrow again, that he stops him after the main meeting so he can give him a hug.

Which is weird is Qrow who said is backstabbing, but are equal in the brotherhood, hell Ozpin never feel james is betraying him, just misunderstanding what was all about.

Sorry about that, my point is that I think james was just used to Qrow doing Qrow thing, after all is position is just disapear and....do his thing, between that and ozpin passing faster, probably james though oz was do for good and move to his plans.

I was wondering what the sword of destructions limit would be given how the relics have very strict limits in general.

Then I considered the obvious possibility that it's some sort of "sword in the stone" type of limitation

I No longer think Cinder is Salem and Ozpins sole surviving daughter, I do however have some sort of theory that she's the daughter of an Oz incarnation perhaps the king of vale given Mordered is one of the most iconic examples of the Antagonistic Offspring

Actually... that may not be all that cracky. Rumpole made a point of saying in Before the Dawn that Vacuo did use to have royalty before the Great War and the Vytal Conference established the aristocracy, it's just most records on them have been lost, being Future Imperfect.

Then there's the fact Cinder demonstrated a rather passionate hatred of Atlas while fighting Winter and Penny. Notable since it was because of Atlas that Vacuo became the barren wasteland it is now rather than the Oasis it was, and ultimately what dragged them into the Great War and lead to the abolishment of the monarchy. And as Fox's background suggests, its not uncommon for orphans to be left around Vacuo or be left in poverty. Add on that Carmine and Bertilak, the human traffickers working for the Crown are based on the Red and Green Knights of Arthurian lore, and Vacuo seems set to have some connection to Arthurian Lore.

Then add together Cinder's entitlement issues, her desire to "Strong, Feared, Powerful", her hatred of Atlas, her lack of backstory being delivered even in her cover identity's home of Mistral, and it would suddenly make sense. Cinder's the descendant of Vacuan Royalty, and she wants what that would have given her, being feared, worshiped, and strength, back after it was lost due to the Great War. Lost because of the Warrior King, aka Ozpin.

That's all a good deal of interesting evidence

So...connecting to my theory Cinder would be the bastard daughter of King of vale and Vacuos queen?

Cause if so I'm noticing a pattern of Oz love life causing horrible things to happen

So what are the chances that Ozpin and Salem are basically the Zeus and Hera of Remnant?

He keeps hooking up with mere mortals, and having kids that inherit a spark of magic.

She keeps wrecking everything, because he won't keep it in his pants and just do what she tells him.

It's all fun and games until your ex-wife tries to destroy humanity. Indeed, I guess the lesson is the root of all tragedies in history is Ozma's other staff.

Oh oh! There's a lot of legends involving a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy, especially of the Apocalypse Maiden variety. Perhaps Salem was imprisoned by her father, because he was actually trying to prevent the downfall she would cause?

I mean always think of something: she is cinderella, is clearly salem is the fairly grandmother that come to her and promise riches and power, we dont know who is the wicked stepmother(probably also salem in fusing the two) I will said ozpin could be the prince who she want something from him.

I also imagine salem is a ex huntress.

You mean Cinder? Because like, it's not clear if Oz and Salem went on adventures before everything went to shit, but whatever they were back then there were no hunters, grimm weren't nearly as much of a problem and the world was largely ruled by humans.

Honestly Salem's dad comes across a lot like the Jaques of his era, who literally did that to Weiss when she started defying him.

Yeah, Cinder is well...cinderella, I mantain Salem is a mix between the fairy grandmother and evil stemother, as as one twitter said, tyrian, watts and hazel can be see as the three evil sister of her.

Which is intersting that Cinder try to be eviler than them.

You know, we haven't seen any real interaction between Cinder and Hazel compared to Watts and Tyrian with Cinder where were shown there dynamic of "they hate her and she returns the feeling"

What if Hazel was the only one who was actually nice to her when she was being trained by Salem, and they still have...respectable if distant relationship as a result of who Cinder has become(Hence why he takes the blame for her screw ups in volume 6)

Namely, because In the brothers Grimm version Instead of a fairy God mother Cinderella had a magic tree, a HAZEL nut tree.

It seen hazel dosent interact that much with the rest of the group, being the nicer guy of salem can do that.

Also I will get that hazel unlike the other does think it was is fault for being cloud by his judgment in the battle, which that part was his fault, just no the major one.

Apparently sheena said that the charachter she related to the most was Cinder

She also said that the tarot card representing her would be Benevolance

....could someone share a bit of info on those tarot cards?
