Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

Probably.
As a side note, this is like the 4th or 5th issue Rock Raider has had in terms of following TLP rules. I'm not sure they've been reading the Guidelines we keep linking.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessFor clarity; if a troper gets suspended for repeated stealth-launching is the draft automatically up for grabs, or do we need to wait the two months? I ask because I really thought that the DIY Dressup draft had some potential, even though it needed some clarification in terms of scoping...

If the TLP ban is permanent, then the draft will be up for grabs immediately.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300So on a hunch, I just checked, and...yeah. Rock Raider also isn't crosswicking properly. They're definitely not reading the guidelines despite having multiple issues and warnings already (stealth launching, bump-spamming, and now this).
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessOkay, maybe a mod can chime in on whether that applies to this particular case, as all I know is that the septimus suspended them on the second launch.
~Fantasy Writer 0317 is not permanently banned, so the two-month wait applies. If they don't petition and get their TLP suspension released by the end of that grace period, then their drafts can be Up for Grabs.
~Rock Raider hasn't been sent any notifiers about Crosswicking, so they're not crossing my personal line for a suspension, although with their previous history I wouldn't disagree with another moderator who felt it necessary to call them in. For now, I think that tropers in general should handle the situation.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.My apologies. I wasn't aware I was breaking TLP rules.
Have you read TLP Guidelines?
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI have now. So, what have I done exactly that counted as breaking the TLP Guidelines?
There was still some uncertainty about the definition and concerns that it might not have been launchworthy at that point. All questions and issues should be resolved before launching.
back lolOh, okay. So, should the page be pulled until a better description is found?
Was Beg the Dog stealth launched?
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Seems like it; there's been no comments on the draft in a week, and there seems to have been no sort of note added to the draft itself.
back lolI think Breeding Sim got prematurely launched.
EDIT: Never mind.

Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Beg has been unlaunched.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here. The TLP for Homemade Flamethrower was launched on the 7th, after not having been touched since June of 2020.
Beg the Dog was also relaunched with nothing more than a note in the discussion thread - that may or may not be enough, up to the mods.

Discussion note is sufficient, even if a laconic/title change is better, based on current rules. It's a bit late on the flamethrower, but unlaunched anyway. Such launches should be caught before a week is up.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.I just came across Mockingbird.Fanfic, a work page that has an incorrect title (it needs to be moved to Fanfic.Mockingbird), should probably mention the fandom it's from (I assume it's Franchise. The Witcher), needs to be indexed, and needs to use WikiWords for its tropes. Paging ~Flop, the creator of the page.
I've moved it to Fanfic.Mockingbird Viken 2592, but you need to improve the page, ~Flop. See the previous post for instructions on how to fix it.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.I was going to add a custom title for the page, but then I saw that the following had already been requested as a custom title:
Awkward grammar aside, the page was moved to Fanfic.Mockingbird Viken 2592 so that its subpages won't collide with the subpages for Literature.Mockingbird, and fanfics are usually disambiguated by author. The page title is supposed to be "Mockingbird (Viken2592)", not a request for help.

Looks like Navel Outline was stealth launched - last edit was April 8, no notice anywhere, even in discussion of an intent to launch.
I think Comic Book Run was stealth launched but I also think it's an index so maybe it's not a big deal.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.~Flop, you still haven't finished addressing the concerns raised here.
I wanted to extend ~dawndusk the courtesy of assuming good faith on the TLP Guidelines due to the glitched edit history, but the nine days separation from the last edit to the launch makes that pretty much impossible.
Yeah, indexes are not as big a deal. Reminder to ~Grigor II that they should have included an announcement anyway.

That's unnecessarily passive aggressive. There was still good faith to be assumed, specifically this: I misunderstood, being a new editor. I thought when a TLP project was up for discussion long enough (10 days as it were) with sufficient approvals but no disapprovals (it had zero votes to discard) that meant it was safe to launch. Obviously, I've learned now.

test
Genetic Abomination was launched by Rock Raider, however, there was some talk in the TLP about if it was in a launchable state or not, and it was only on the TLP for 4 days. Should we get rid of it?
