An all-female Expendables wouldn't have to do the exact same thing that the male Expendables movies did. In fact, if written well, the dialogue could be a bit more interesting and the kickass sequences would probably be a bit more inspiring.

Also, there's still a shortage of live-action heroines who can kick some serious ass (the only name that right now comes to my mind is Sigourney Weaver).

[up][up] Shush, child. You cannot possibly grasp the absurdity of 80s action schlockfest stars reuniting for a retirement plan. Featuring Jet Li and Jason Statham.

They have to have Whoopi Goldberg. She kicks ass in the most unique way possible. BY BEING FUNNY.

And they should include Emma Watson, cause, obivously they need a brains.

The people they're making these movies for will find a way to "prove" they're misogynistic and promote rape culture. No pleasing them. Don't know why they're bothering to make these.

[up]Is that an assumption or do you have evidence for what you're stating?

...Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Come on. You don't play a kick-ass vampire/demon/demon cyborg slayer for years and get no recognition for it.

Never knows best.

I watched Mercenaries. It was alright. Definitely a "turn your brain off" flick.

Mercenaries 2 is the height of the franchise. Mercenaries 1 isn't ridiculous enough and has too much plot, 3 has this new group of mercenaries that serve no purpose and feels a little "same gags all over". 2 is the one where the franchise is at its best with barely any plot, campness, and Bruce Willis, Arnold, Jean Claude Van Damme, Sylvester Stallone and Chuck Norris in the same action scene (noticeably 3 doesn't have Chuck, Van Damme or Bruce).

I recommend watching the second.

@Gaon: ^_^ Not The Expendables. Mercenaries, which was the version by The Asylum with an all-female cast.
