I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DI'd go mascot fighter. I feel like Nick's wacky characters would lend themselves better to such a thing.
Easy street has no parking signs.I'm a bit confuse on what that has to do with autism though.
Can you elaborate?

@Torquey - As illogical as most of them are, those aren't rosters though. I think you should use a different term, one that isn't offensive (eg "Some people make stupid/idiotic rosters" instead)...
@Noah1 - "I personally see this concept as a Mascot Fighter. Let's hear it!" Okay then, but my roster was designed with the Marvel Vs Capcom path in mind, although most of my choices should work for the Smash Bros one anyway. I will put an asterisk (*) next to the ones who wouldn't work in the Smash Bros version, and two (**) if they wouldn't work in the Marvel Vs Capcom style one. Here it is!
Characters:
- Sponge Bob Square Pants: SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, Plankton (via Mini-Mecha)
- Danny Phantom: Danny Phantom, Vlad Plasmius
- The Fairly Odd Parents: Timmy Turner, Jorgen Von Strangle
- The Adventures Of Jimmy Neutron: Jimmy Neutron, Ultra Lord (maybe)
- Avatar The Last Airbender: Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Zuko, Korra
- Invader Zim: Zim, GIR (maybe)
- Cat Dog: CatDog
- The Angry Beavers: Daggett & Norbert (duo)**
- Rugrats: Reptar*
- The Wild Thornberrys: Eliza Thornberry
- The Ren And Stimpy Show: Stimpy (with Ren assisting, or as a duo if gone the Smash Bros route)
- Aaahh Real Monsters: Ickis**
- My Life As A Teenage Robot: Jenny Wakeman
- TUFF Puppy: Dudley Puppy, Kitty Katswell
Also, for the Smash version they could have El Tigre.
I will not suggest characters who appear on the Nicktoons channel who aren't actually Nicktoons (Dragon Ball GT, Iron Man Armored Adventures), Live-Action shows, or who are made by them but aren't their property (The Penguins Of Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda Legends Of Awesomeness).

How about Ickis, Oblina, amd Krumn as a trio? And Fanboy And Chum Chum as a duo?

I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DNeeds moar Nigel Thornberry.
And why wouldn't Ickis work in a MvC style game?

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."@Torquey: Some of those are admittedly completely absurd. None of those should be referred to as "autism". (Seriously, what the hay are you even saying?)
Also, the last one is obviously satire.
Author of The Way Of The Metagamer and Muffinbaked. My troper page.I don't think a trio would really worh that well. "And Fanboy And Chum Chum as a duo?" Failboy and Chump Chump (along with New Sponge Bob) is the embodiment of all that is wrong with current-day Nickelodeon.
Nigel Thornberry is only really popular due to his Memetic status. He doesn't really have something that you could make a moveset from. Eliza, on the otherhand, could summon animals.
As for Ickis, I just get the feeling he isn't tailored to an MvC style game. Like, what would his moveset be? His hypers? I'm not that familiar with him due to not seeing the show in eight years.
Let's just drop it; I don't want my thread to become an argument.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMThe pair would drive kids to buy the game and see old Nicktoons, and could be used as training dummies by older fans.
How do you like my lists for a traditional.fighter and a mascot fighter?
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DOr, y'know, not have them at all. Every other Nick game caters to kids; why can't we have one aimed at us for once? If Fanboy and Chum Chum were literal training dummies (like wooden dummies with Fanboy and Chum Chum's faces painted on them) in the game, then yes.
As for your rosters... here's what I thought:
- Traditional Fighter: Most of it was good, but I mainly don't like it because you made it "Nickelodeon Vs Dragonball". Also, making Timmy, Jimmy and CatDog assist rather than playables didn't go well with me.
- Mascot Fighter: I don't really know some of those characters, but in some areas it had better choices than your other one, but some of the choices were worse (Bessie? Lack of Aang?)
I'm sorry if I sounded harsh but I'm a critical kind of guy. No hard feelings.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMDon't worry, miru doesn't seem to be the type to get upset or angry about anything. I think this is the guy who once made a thread about his "game" idea where Knuckles comforts Rouge because she didn't into Mario And Sonic At The Omlpympic Games, so he's done crazier stuff than this.
Anyway, I made my thread for a fighting game based off The Hub and other Hasbro stuff. It's kind of dead right now, so if anyone could contribute, I'd be thankful.

A good writer puts in a lot of details in there story. But a great one gets a story from a single detail.@ABRICK I am that guy. I also claimed Marvel was Disney and Australia was easterneastern.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DI don't know if a Nick fighting game could work. Super Smash Bros seemed too pull this off (even with a mix of cartoony and more realistic characters) by making them all seem (somewhat) realistic in their appearance and fighting moves. Their moves were fluid and still true to their medium. The problem Nick has is that one of their trademarks (not literally) to their cartoons is their wacky movements and weird expressions. These wouldn't work well in a fighting game. Spongebob, a character who would have to be in the game for obvious reasons, would be either too fluid and all over the place or not true to the cartoon's nature.
An exclusively Avatar-verse (A:TLA and Korra) fighting game could work, though. There's enough characters who would have enough good fighting moves and the art style would work. What about that?
OPEN DA DOOooOR!It still needs Nigel Thornberry.
And thinking Nickelodeon would make a game that caters to their older fans instead of children is not only stupid, but it's as unlikely as shaking an apple tree and have a pear fall off. Face it: Fanboy and Chum Chum would get in this kind of game.
And Bessie as a character wouldn't be that bad with some creative thinking. Perhaps she could turn into The Mighty B for her supers or something.
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."@Macargo Man:
Trad: I had guests from outside DBZ. All tge DBZ guys need to be unlocked.
Mascot Fighter: Which ones do you not recognize?
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2D"and Australia was easterneastern." - What the heck do you mean by that?
"Spongebob, a character who would have to be in the game for obvious reasons, would be either too fluid and all over the place or not true to the cartoon's nature" - Sponge Bob is a pretty well-animated show, and its just the game devs who get his model/animations looking wierd. Which the right dev, he could look and move without it being awkward. And isn't fluid animation a good thing, 'cause, y'know, fluid animation is smooth?
"An exclusively Avatar-verse (A:TLA and Korra) fighting game could work, though. There's enough characters who would have enough good fighting moves and the art style would work. What about that?" - That sounds cool. It'd probably go the MvC/Traditonal Fighter due to the way the characters work. But it shouldn't get rid of this idea either, there's always both.
"And thinking Nickelodeon would make a game that caters to their older fans instead of children is not only stupid" - How now? Because Pandering to the Base for once is wrong? Disney fans get an awesome game, so why can't we. The kids are always catered to, and they never appreciated the shows as much as we did. We got heaps of great shows, they got Fanboy And Chum Chum... surely Nick can think of us for just once.
"And Bessie as a character wouldn't be that bad with some creative thinking. Perhaps she could turn into The Mighty B for her supers or something." - Whoops. When I heard the name I assumed that she was one of the cows from Barnyard. My mistake.
Trad: But the amount of them feels over-excessive. There are dozens of Dragonball fighting games. I feel they shouldn't invade someone else's fighting debut.
Mascot: I don't know Pelswick, Henry and June, Ginger, Guapo and Fraz, Otto, Kappa Mikey or Purple and Brown .

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMTrad: I will cut it down to.Goku and Vegeta, amd add Ninja Turtles ore more Winx.
Mascot: Pelswick is from.Pelswick, H&J are Ka Blam hosts, Kappa Mikey was on Nicktoons, Guapo and Fraz are The Brothers Flub, Otto tails of Rocket Power and Purple and Brown are from Nick interstitials.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DMore Assist Trophy Ideas!
The Folkies (Pelswick): They just sit down, and sing about mistreated railway workers. Yeah, they're the psuedo-Mr. Resetti.
Gary (Sponge Bob): Pounces and bites on a random fighter.
Gonard (Kappa Mikey): Eats any health-recovering item on the field.
Dodie and Macie (As Told By Ginger): They leap to the left and right side of the field, and start hurling pillows at the opponents.
Just floating around...Maurice: another.Mr. Ressetii type, he talks on about advice.
Tigress: Cartwheels in to attack, when she hits her target, she uses kung fu.
Yakkity Yak: Slowly falls down, then drops explosives
Puma Loco: Gattling guns that shoot foe, followed by.a spinning attack
Sokka: Throws boomerang
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2D@every108minutes: In three words, Peacock from Skullgirls.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.I don't understand what you mean by that.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMHere's a good idea for a stage: Tuff Prison
A maximum security prison with every B-list Tuff Puppy villain chained up.in the background.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DYeah, me neither.
To clarify my opinion, just watch a Spongebob episode. The characters are not really geared for more sensible combat. If they were in a fighting game, it would seem too chaotic.
On another note, would this game have HP (like most fighting games) or would it be like Smash Bros with the damage percentage and the launching?
