Coulson is running for president(?).
Wolverine leads a all-canadian team, with a new sorcerer Supreme so it seems.
After the fifth Civil War, they just ended the Avengers brand and have to invent new teams to go big again.
Wake me up at your own risk.Thanos might be crossed with Dracula it looks like he has fangs
Didn't they do something to this with Infinity Warps? Also, is thus just a story arc in say Aaron's Avengers or is it the new summer event?
Who is the President of the United States in the Marvel universe at this point?

Ultimate Secret WarsI imagine we might see Biden under shadows in a future issue.
I recall that when Civil War II started Obama was the president and was shown (under shadows) as being such during the event, but by the time the last issue was released Trump was elected so in it he appears (under shadows).
Why didn't the psychic kid foresee Trump's victory, and why didn't Carol try to do anything to prevent it?
Unless...!
I knew there was something off about that Ulysses.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."His visions weren't that good and Carol was pretty terrible at acting on them. For all we know, she accidentally caused Hillary Clinton to lose by accident or something.
Wake me up at your own risk.Dammit carol
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI was thinking the other night that we'll probably start seeing the President pop up in Marvel comics again. I don't know that Trump ever showed up, aside from the very end of CWII, which I think makes him the only President not to get occasional appearances in the comics.
I guess because, for all the wild and improbable crap comic creators can come up with, even they can't imagine a reality where Trump can handle a crisis.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Knowing him he’d make everything worse.
Like commissioning his own alt-right super-team.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Reminds me how in the rather shortlived retroboot of The Good The Bad and the Spandex II in the RP subfora, I had President Trump as a legit supervillain and President Evil. He basically hired a team of fake superheroes to oppress a whole city, including hiring Lieutenant Force, a Sociopathic Soldier known for atrocities and impropriety, in as "Captain Patriot".
And he was working with a Nazi scientist who had turned into a floating cyborg brain called Dr. Neuron.
I thought I was going a bit over the top with Trump's evilness. Then the Capitol Riots happened.
And I'll admit, I'd pay money to watch Knull Eviler than Thou Trump via Symbiote Dragon.
Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.President Trump did appear in Savage Dragon, I think.
Also, in Dark Knight Returns- the Golden Child, he's in cahoots with the Joker (who should be dead) and Darkseid to win the reelection, and it's all as lame as it sounds.
There was also the Mental Organism Designed As America's King.
There's not enough bleach in the world to blot out that sight.
One Strip! One Strip!Jeff Mace, the '50s Captain America, was retconned into basically an "alt-right superhero" if I remember right. Cracking skulls at peaceful civil rights and anti-Vietnam War protests and such.
And, as mentioned, I'd like to see Johnston Coffin from Generation X return. He never professes to be a hero, exactly, but he's definitely an "alt-right superbeing."

The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."There's also William Burnside, the "Grand Director", who I think could be very easily retooled into an alt-right type if he wasn't already.
I could see him as being a falsely respectable seeming Richard Spencer type. He puts on a sophisticated face and puts his words in well, but his actual ideology is just as nauseating and horrible as it ever was. Basically, he suckers the gullible while changing absolutely nothing - highlighting the point that "alt-right" is just Nazi with a new paint job.
He was already an infamous reactionary who basically took over as Cap and then had to be slapped out of the role.

Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.Is Honest John from Uncanny Avengers still around? "Making horrible look respectable" was basically his whole shtick.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Trump just not appearing feels like the compromise you’d get between the writers and yoog Trump supporter Perlmutter
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWait a minute is Kelly Thompson's Deadpool series cancelled?
I recall someone saying they haven't saying they haven't seen any solicitations for beyond issue 10 and I just now realized, neither have I.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Might just be a hiatus. Hopefully. Her run's been well-received, from what I've seen, so I don't think Marvel would cancel it.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Mace was always a good guy, that was Burnside, whose flawed version of the Super Soldier Serum caused him to become an increasingly irrational and violent paranoiac (not that he seemed all that together in the first place, having an all-consuming obsession with Captain America even before he haggled the government into letting him assume the mantle).
Yeah, if I remember right the Cap succession line went Spirit of '76/William Nasland (good guy), the Patriot/Jeff Mace (good guy), then William Burnside (bad guy).
Trimming the hedges, one trope at a time.
It would still have sentimental value
Thor doesn’t like Mjolnir because only he can pick it up
