I'm glad I'm not the only one that remembers that weird trailer/video bonus for X2... [lol]

What I found funny about So Bad, It's Good voice acting like that is, it seemed to improve over the brief time span of the trailer. surprised

I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting Agency

"Ride THE lightning!"

And then there's the matter of Dizzy's screams... it sounds like she came straight out of a porno. Just... dear heavens.

The actual animation during that part doesn't help matters.

And on a different note, I almost forgot that The Beast himself, Mr. Daigo Umehara played XX. Those Gun Flame FRCs at the end. Holy smokes...

Seriously need to play AC one of these days....

If you had to enter a tournament, who would you pick? I'd go with Sol, since... hell, I usually pick the 'Ryu' of a fighting game to use seriously.

Probably Sol or Ky. I do better with Shotos in most cases.

I'd definitely pick Karen Strassman for Millia.

As of May, I'd say probably either Christine Marie Cabanos or Cassandra Lee (Madoka or Kyubey).

I would've picked Laura Bailey for Dizzy, but then she's already Plat. So Stephanie Sheh will do just fine.

Could definitely see Tara Platt doing Jam. Or if not, Amanda Winn Lee will do great for her (based on her Etna performance in the first Disgaea before Michelle Ruff replaced her)

Hmmm as of the others... Kyle Hebert as Johnny sounds fine. And I was also kinda thinking of Matthew Mercer as Anji. And Johnny Yong Bosch (with the Yukimura voice) for Chipp, please.

Yeah, I could see JYB as Chipp. Not so sure on Tara as Jam. Nothing against her; she's a great voice actress, but I think Amanda's vocal range makes her a somewhat better choice. Again, I'm judging this mainly off of a comparison with the Japanese voices (which is the same reason why Liam as Ky sounded... odd to me).

Hey, maybe we could compile our suggestions and send them to Ishiwatari and the rest of ASW when the next game is finally unveiled!

In a tournament, I'd use Order-Sol.

Yeah, he basically plays the same as Sol-Badguy. but HE LOOKS SO COOL

Sol and Order-Sol play rather differently in my experience.

I've frequently played as Order, but i've only played as Original!Sol once. They played kinda the same, and had the same starting and ending animations. My bad :P

I would probably play as Sol or Jam.

Order Sol is one of the few characters I still haven't gotten the hang of, mainly because he's comparatively new.

I don't really know who I'm best with. My skill with most of the characters is relatively on par.

Isn't testament stated to be one of the hardest Fighting Game Characters to master ever in Tournament play? I've heard this a few times, but I wasn't too sure.

I don't pay attention to tournament play so I don't really know, but I found him fairly easy to get the hang of for normal play.

Testament's weapon is just a tad "limited", yes? You can slash, but only within arm's length. Other characters have larger weapons (Order-Sol) or ranged weapons (Bridget) that can strike out a bit further than physically possible, but Testament's blood scythe is limited to a relatively small area of attack.

His basic slash may be, but his forward-heavy slash has more range than most, I think, although it does have a minimum range. One of his special moves where he moves forward while slashing in a circle has rather nice area of effect at a decent speed, although it's rather punishable on block. One of his greater strengths are his traps, which, although an experienced player don't have much trouble noticing them, can hamper their movement and can be knocked into setting up some combos.

Once one gets used to how his basics work, I don't think he's too difficult to use, at least at some bare minimum of effectiveness.

...Christ, sounds like fun. Bit too tough for this troper to master, though ):

You know, i'm thinking about a Guilty Gear Machinima-like thing sometime in the future. Using MUGEN.

If you play any decent amount, it may be a good idea to try out most of the various characters and see how they play. Even if you don't find a character your prefer playing more, you can get a good idea of each of the character's strengths and weaknesses and learn to take advantage of them.

But isn't Testament more of a zoner who needs to utilize tricky setups in order to win?

Anyway...
