@Imca:

Well, it could hitch a ride with one of the larger FTL capable vessels - although it may be a bit of a squeeze depending on how crowded the hangar is, the Devastator may be able to fit it (though we're never told how large its' hangar bays are).

Also, just imagine what the Imperial propagandists would do if they got a hold of what happened here - Darth Vader, noble and gallant defender of the just and egalitarian Galactic Empire, encounters extra-dimensional beings alongside his courageous and selfless crew and attempts to form a fair and equal partnership with them for the betterment of all. Alas, it is all for naught: the naturally suspicious and cunning beings take advantage of Vader's natural compassion, turned against him by the poisonous lies of those most foul Rebels: the irresponsible Han Solo, his bestial first mate Chewbacca, and the naive and misguided Luke Skywalker. The last scene of the holodrama is Vader watching the flaming wrecks of his former potential allies drift past silently, with sad violin music playing as an actor cast as Palpatine monologing about the senseless loss of life. And is that a single tear trickling down his mask? Cue fade to black.

Anyway, I'm about to recap and I'll get a post up eventually. tongue

If they got back. And got back without lots of footage of Vader being hit by a yellow sword bigger than he is, because that would ruin the Empire's credibility. It would be hilarious, though.

... Oh, and Fate can convert mana to electricity. XD

Or without being subjected to a bomb designed to vaporise everything within about a hundred miles, which will probably need a pretty major whack with the NERF bat.

Well, it's not like they'd include such stuff except at the climax, where the underhanded tricks of the interdimensional travellers almost overwhelm Vader - but just when it looks like all hope is lost, he remembers the promise he made to his crew: everyone would get home safely. One scene involving swelling music and much asskicking later, and the Sith has secured his subordinates' lives. tongue

And before anyone asks, yes, Imperial propaganda holos could and would get very sappy, such as one involving a boy who valiantly supports the Empire against his parents' wishes. During the climax, he runs to the Emperor's arms just as he is shot by his father, and he implores the Sith Lord to ensure that evil people like his parents are gotten rid of. He then dies.

What would Vader's response be to violence perpetuated by a giant yellow sword? [lol]

The only energy swords are those wielded by Jedi/Sith/Dark Jedi and one or two minor groups, so he'd probably assume she's a Force sensitive with an unusual design of lightsaber or other energy weapon. I'll leave his reaction to the imagination of the reader, as I have no intention of having this become a "My character can kick your character's ass!" style argument.

Is it even possible for lightsabers to get bigger than the person wielding them? :O

You're assuming he doesn't simply get Starlight Breaker'd.

Well, certain designs do allow you to alter the blade length (such as Vader's lightsaber) though not to such a ridiculous degree, and there is such a thing as a lightclub, which has a ridiculously large blade.

EDIT:

@Deadbeat:

What did I say about trying not to get into a "Character A can totally kick Character B's behind!" style argument?

That thing's big. [lol]

Starlight Breaker has a habit of defeating anyone, I wouldn't worry too much. Long range, high power. [lol]

Yeah, the lightclub is a big weapon for a big guy. Probably packs more of a whallop than a normal lightsaber - hell, even Kyle Katarn had trouble with Gorc and Pic.

@Reven:

I've got a terrible feeling I'm going to have to scramble for a reason for the Devastator's inactivity. Oh well.

And Here we go...

I'm really hoping deathpigeon does the Firefly crew proud, as I've kinda set things up where they warn the rest of the fleet what the hell is in front of them [lol]

Hm... I'm not sure if the others agree with me here, but could you avoid using the script format, Joesolo? It's kind of jarring when compared to the other posts, and it feels like it's taking place in a Featureless Plane of Disembodied Dialogue. As for rendering Shyrriwook, you could just say that Chewbacca barked or whined or whatever.

Sorry if it seems like I'm being rude; I'm just trying to help.

I was trying not to say anything about that but... the script format is out of place. =|

@Reven: So far they haven't exactly been proud... Mostly just confused, then fleeing in terror from multiple capital ships, including one which they personally insulted the commander of in the foulest language they knew before getting confused again over what the fuck FTL is. Though, if there are Reavers, they are so totally warning everyone about what's happening, and then going to blackout and hoping that, if the Reavers board a ship, they board the Devastator.

I was meaning you've been playing them very well, so I am looking forward their reaction of being, at least for a moment, completely alone with the Reaver Fleet. [lol]

Their reaction was the only reasonable reaction to seeing the entire Reaver fleet, and then have it notice you. Flee. In. Terror.
