Or she's just guilt tripping Joyce.
A reminder that Joyce is semiautobiographical. Whatever Carol is doing, Willis likely knows from experience with their mom.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."My wife had a situation kind of like this where her divorced dad showed up at her high school with a truck full of gifts. Which... yeah, kind of fit him from what I understand (I've never met him as he was persona non grata by the time I met her). Good intentions, but lousy execution because his focus was on him and what he was doing, not on how it impacted others.
But yeah, downsizing could be a major thing. There's a reason why storage spaces keep growing, because the average person can afford less and less square footage, and after a divorce, there's a good chance that housing had to shrink.
Per the comments, Mama!Willis sold their house and gave the money to their church. Wouldn't surprise me if that's the angle that Carol's gonna take as well, especially if the Walkers went ahead with a lawsuit against that church over the Blaine/Toedad fiasco.

I don't see Carol getting violent.
Gaslightly and manipulative, sure, not violent.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117Yeah and the only way to shut down the gaslighting and manipulation is a bat to the bonce.
Hmm. Since Joyce'll probably be moving in May, I'm guessing the quiet intent here is to deliver them to Hank without contacting him directly. Sort of like that scene from The Crying Game.
My posts make considerably more sense read in the voice of John Ratzenberger. There'll be more of a mess shortly I'd imagine
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Perhaps the mess is like Klutter from Eek! The Cat, and it spontaneously comes to life so Becky and Dina can go on adventures.

Gosh I love Becky.
What's the thing on her desk that she hides?
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Her birth control pills, I'm assuming.

Joyce's best move is shock and awe.
"See these, Mom? *pulls out her birth control pills* That's right, I'm boning EVERY GUY ON THIS CAMPUS. AND YOU CAN'T STOP ME!"
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117Yeah it's the pills pack with an arrow to count days of taking them.
Thanks.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Do you refill a container like that, or discard it and get a new one every month? Seems too complicated to be disposable if there's an arrow to move, but I also always thought that birth control pills came in such a case.
One time when I was a kid it was just very important to me that people remember that crucifixion was far from an exotic form of execution in the Roman empire, and drew Calvary just like, completely covered with crosses. Then my mother explained to me that there were only three that day (although really, were there just three, or were there just three that were significant enough to note in the text? I should check).
Fresh-eyed movie blogAlso Eugh....i experienced something erriely similar in my own life, so i super sympathize with Joyce here.
You shouldn't do something just because g-d told you to! Guy has no accountability and a rocky history!
.....wait? What's that I hear?
THAT'S JOE'S ENTRANCE MUSIC!

Mama brown is having to downsize her loving situation due to the divorce and now has more possessions than space I bet.
