Current image not perfectly clear; better image available.: Five Man Band.Live Action TV

First of all, I don't think this current image◊ is a great choice. For one thing, it's not clear who is The Smart Guy and who is The Lancer. I had the one in the sport jacket and ascot, Tatsuya, pegged as The Smart Guy, but according to the caption, he's The Lancer, and the completely nondescript guy in the yellow jacket, Jun, is The Smart Guy. To make matters worse, the page for Denshi Sentai Denziman lists Jun as being both The Smart Guy and The Big Guy, while listing Daigoro, whom the image caption in question lists as The Big Guy, as The Bumblebee, of all things! So I don't think this picture makes a very good choice.

I also believe that there is a better option◊ available. First of all, the captions embedded in the picture itself ensure that even people totally unfamiliar with the show, whom I would surmise are fewer than those totally unfamiliar with Denshi Sentai Denziman, will be able to easily figure who is which member of the band. Secondly, both the Five-Man Band page and the Leverage page are in agreement about which member is which. As such, I submit that the Leverage picture would make a better choice for a page picture.

I'm not sure who is supposed to be who. I'm pretty sure I got the Big Guy in "the hitter" but I can't guess at any of the others. Several of them seem to share responsibilities.

I'm not so sure about the Angel example. Both Wesley and Fred could be The Smart Guy, and at the same time, either Wesley or Gunn could be The Lancer, although Gunn is also the only real candidate for The Big Guy. At the same time, both Cordy and Fred could be The Chick. The only character whose role seems unambiguous to me in that example is Angel himself, who is The Hero. The others, though, are debatable and ambiguous. That being said, I do think it would be an improvement over the current image.

I still prefer the Leverage picture though. I realize it won't be completely obvious to everyone, but I do think it's still somewhat better than the Angel pic, and much better than the current pic.

Anything would be better than the current picture. Which I cut. No reason in the world we have to have something from Japan when we're dealing with Live Action. The Leverage image has those distracting other roles labeled on. They might work in another group shot.

I think this page should remain imageless as it is just a sub page. The main page should solely have a picture. Which it currently lacks.

I could get behind that other Leverage pic.

Leaving it imageless sounds reasonable too, though. We could move the Voltron image◊ from the anime subpage to the main page. That might work.

We want the main to be image-less and the subs to have pictures. That helps the main page be medium agnostic.

That makes sense too.

I like Eddie's Leverage picture much better. I can tell the guy in the middle is The Hero (cause he's in the middle), the guy on the left is The Big Guy, the girl on the left is probably The Chick. The two on the right aren't as clear to me, but much better than the previous one.

The woman on the left is actually The Lancer. The blonde is The Chick. Still, as I said, I could definitely get behind that pic as a choice. Are there any other suggestions besides that one and the Angel pic?

In that case, I think we're done. The pic is up, potholed, and tagged. I'd say leave it captionless for now, but if someone wants to put up a caption explaining who's which role, that's fine. Locking up.

On a secondary note, now I know where to go for Eddie's recommendation that pics go on subpages rather than mains.
