Oh, y'know. Kid heroes. Supposed sidekicks who often (in Penny's case nigh always) carry their own plots. Gadgeteer geniuses - depending on the writer, to the point of being insanely effective robotics experts. That sort of thing.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. So, between Venom and Crona... who do you think will win and why?

My only knowledge of Crona is from the anime, so I have no idea what Crona gets up to in the manga.
Manga Crona does what anime Crona does, but more. Their biggest difference is probably the ability to fuse with and absorb anyone infected by madness.
Even manga Crona should have the upper hand against Venom. Even if Venom can resist Ragnarok's scream, which is a constant factor, any attack landed by either combatant is going to send insanity into Venom and his host. A form of insanity that specifically prevents pairs like meisters and weapons from working together and convinces them to consume each other.

Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireDoes the madness only affect Weapons and Meisters? Because while there may be some similarities, Venom isn't a Weapon and Eddie isn't a Meister.
That said, Venom being afflicted by madness isn't necessarily a good thing — as seen when the "Caged Angels" attacked Mac Gargan in Thunderbolts, or when Knull starting waking up in Donny Cates' Venom. Symbiotes can feed off negative emotions to augment themselves (and one of the reasons Carnage is so much more powerful than Venom is because of Cletus' madness). Oh, and I just remembered that Venom (Mac Gargan) once fought a supervillain with insanity-inducing powers... and was completely immune to them.

They should have said Venon LETHALLY PROTECTS Death Battle.
One Strip! One Strip!Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).
That G1 Death Battle blog did a hypothetic between Axe Cop and Bobobo. The research is exhaustive, but both characters are exhausting to begin with.
It's pretty much a superhero character from a 6-year old's imagination versus an anime Gag Character with toonforce on their side.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Not much has been happening with CurbStompBattle.Death Battle so I'm just gonna start removing entries. They shouldn't be there anyway.
Could you please list the ones that you plan on deleting so we can try make sure that the general group agrees with it and things don’t go into edit war territory?
I will list them in the death battle cleanup thread.
there were some battles that were total stomps, but the animation don't show it because they're showing off what the characters can do
Bane vs Venom is an obvious example
Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistI don't see why Genos vs. War Machine was taken off though. They just said "Genos was a powerful contender", but he didn't really have anything that could beat War Machine, not even a single advantage.
A (The Fourth Raikage) [1] vs Jefferson Piece (Black Lightning) [2]
- Electric Black Guy vs Electric Black Guy
- has a Badass Family but their Papa Wolf streak causes issues
- first Black superhero in DC vs
first Black character in Narutonote

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).First black kage introduced?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWiz: Genos was certainly a serious threat in the field of battle. However, Rhodes held a solid advantage in many different aspects.
I mean that doesn’t say how he holds up to Rhodes it’s just that he’s a good fighter.
They said that Ben 10 put up a "Stellar Fight" but even they said that Green Lantern put every one of Ben's aliens to shame, even countering everything Alien X could, even stating that Alien X was "One of the most powerful beings ever on Death Battle".

That's not how I'm reading that line and even then unless the host call it a one-sided match up that would be an easy win for the winner it shouldn't be there.
For whatever reason that wasn't enough for them to call it a stomp
Edited by captainpat on Sep 29th 2020 at 9:08:35 AM
This is the fight that has Genos's ultimate attack doing jack shit being played for comedy. I'd say that it's a stomp.
the animation for that fight had genos get a lot hits in and significantly damage Rhodes armor. That's hardly a stomp.
War Machine avoided Genos' attack via phase shifting, he didn't tank it. There's a big difference between couldn't and didn't.
Death Battle, by its very nature, is not one that should really have the Curb Stomp Battle trope applied to it. As has been said before, Curb-Stomp Battle is a defeat trope not a victory one. The whole point of the show is to pit two fighters against each other and figure out who would win a battle. If there's any question whatsoever about the victor, then it's not a Curb Stomp Battle. And that question is the foundation of every single episode.
Deadpool vs The Mask is the one possible exception to this since Deadpool was specifically set up to lose.

Bleye knows Sabers.Would Shana vs Yusuke Urameshi be a good match?
For the Imperium!!!
What are the similarities between the two?
I think Donatello of Ninja Turtles would be a goid fit for Tim. Both are badass bookworms who fight with staffs.
