Some of my own work is there as well, but I'd rather not shamelessly plug myself. ...*cough*

I'm looking for fics where the cast plays Dungeons and Dragons, and the prose takes on a Deep-Immersion Gaming aspect, like The Gamers, the Borderlands 2 Bunkers and Badasses DLC, or that one Dexter episode where Dee Dee takes over as Dungeon Master.

They're hard to find, and rarely done with any longevity, or through an entire campaign. I've seen a couple of RWBY ones, one for FFVII, and that's it.

There is one for Big Hero 6 linked on the recs page. Lord fred and the kingdom of doom, i think. It's funny and clever but unfinushed and not updated in months, so....

I am a new user and came to the site via a review someone left on my story "Beautiful Monster" (based off the creepypasta Rugrats Theory) and I was very surprised to find it in the fanfiction recommendations page for Rugrats. I wanted to thank Princess Togezo and fruitstripegum for recommending it. I PM'd fruitstripegum to thank them, but when I tried to do the same for Princess Togezo, the PM wouldn't send because "Not recognized user" or something like that. IF YOU ARE PRINCESS TOGEZO WITH A DIFFERENT USERNAME PLEASE PM ME SO I CAN THANK YOU FOR THE RECOMMENDATION AN GENEROUS COMMENT ABOUT MY STORY.

Here's a fanfiction that worth a read for anyone who likes Daisy!

It was a one-shot but it's pretty solid. The basic premise is that Vice City has a competent supercop which causes some major butterflies to Vice City's canon. He even leaves author notes for those who haven't played the original game.

A New Order. A [PROTOTYPE] and Parasite Eve fanfic.

The fanfic so far has 3 chapters but it's very good. A crossover with Prototype and Parasite Eve, the events of Parasite Eve 1 happens at the same time during the events of Prototype (Thus Aya is still 25 just like the 1st Parasite Eve game which took place in 1997). The fanfic uses the Point of View of Aya Brea and Alex Mercer.

What i find interesting of the fanfic is that Blackwatch thinks Eve and the Mitochondria Mutants are the results of the Blacklight virus when in truth they aren't. Furthermore, Alex cannot consume Mitochondria Mutants as they can fight back when he tries to consume them and kill themselves before he has a chance to get anything from them.

A highly recommended read.

Anything that has Fifty Shades of Grey-esque writing and shipping are simply hilarious.

I'm not sure if anyone actually still plays it nowadays, but I would want to recommend Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon: Here Comes The Hydroflames by..... me, actually.

I know I know, it may seem like shameless advertising, but I also find it kinda sad how the fanfic rec page of the Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon page has no fanfics at all, I wish to change that, and with that, more PSMD fanfics will pop up in the future.

I'd like to recommend the fanfic 'In The End, You Always Kneel' by 'The Freelancer Collaboration'. It's basically an Avengers-based AU of the Hunger Games, and I was surprised to see that it doesn't have a page here, since it's massive and glorious and amazing. It has a Hunger Games-verse version of Steve Rogers and Spider-Man and Tony Stark and I loved it. Most people do. I'm also posting this up because ITEYAK's sequel, 'When Blood Calls For Blood', is coming out soon, probably sometime in March, and the more people that know about this, the better. :)

Can a fanfic author recommend his own fanfic, or does it have to be a second reviewer? See tweet from Daryl Kelly @Cadror on Twitter for the latter, please.

I've yet to see anyone seriously frown on shameless self-promotion, but usually it happens in fandom-specific threads rather than in this one.

The Trevelyans A story about two siblings of House Trevalyon starting before Dragon Age Inquisition but continuing into the game. Their is a lot of great world building and character development. This is almost novel quality.

Honest question: I wonder how fanfics get recommended since the rules say no advertising?

I'm going to recommend some Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) fics by an author known as Alan Schezar. I don't know how many people are still interested in the first FMA series, especially since Brotherhood eclipsed it in popularity, but for anyone who is interested here are some fics I thought were worth mentioning.

The first is a longish fic called Incomplete Life. It Focuses on Wrath and Winry, and takes place after the movie (while obviously altering some stuff about the movie's storyline). The author also wrote a few stories called The Weimar Tales focusing on Ed and Al in Germany, also after the movie. Obviously it wouldn't be a good idea to read any of these stories until you've seen the tv series and movie, if you don't want to be spoiled.
