So for anyone who heard about the black rapper who attacked Dave Chapelle and had a fake gun with a real knife inside, Dave with all the taste you can expect from him makes jokes about it being trans people being mad at him. Cause he can’t not find a way to not be a bigot.
Even better? The rapper is a Trump supporter, so thanks to his tasteless joke people are taking what Chapelle said as fact.

The court rejects Alabama's assertion that gender-affirming care for minors is experimental and dangerous, instead deeming them "well-established, evidence-based treatments" whose prohibition violates parents' constitutional right to direct their children's medical care.
The court also holds that Alabama's health care ban discriminates against transgender children on the basis of sex in violation of the equal protection clause.
It's only a preliminary injunction and it only blocks the part of the law banning hormones and puberty blockers (and not the parts of the law that bans gender reassignment surgery or requires teachers to out trans kids to their parents), but it's good that the law's actually getting some pushback.

It's probably because puberty blockers and hormone therapy is given to cis kids on a regular basis due to genuine hormonal imbalances and disorders and it's also part of the standard way intersex kids are treated to try and force them to conform into one gender role or the other.

My state is joining the flood of anti-trans bills.
Yesterday was just testimony from supporters of the bill, which would bad doctors from providing gender affirming care to minors (covering surgeries, medications AND mental health).
One highlight was the mother of a young trans man testifying saying that doctors/social services support for her son were at fault for her losing her child. She said authorities supporting trans youth is like "walking them to the gas chambers."

Oh, it was several hours of that. There was a TRANS WOMAN who transitioned at 18 arguing trans healthcare should be banned for anyone under 25. Like... fuck off, Pick Me.
It's unclear if he ran away or was taken by child protective services before he was 18. And now that he's a legal adult has cut off all contact with her.
