Hamlet, Crimson Manor

As Katsuragi dashes off through the walls, he encounters a small room attached to the main hall of this manor. Inside is, as promised, a small box very similar to one Kamui obtained perhaps no more than an hour ago from that odd hag in the village proper.

Also in this room however, is the corpulent figure of that oddly jolly man who was in the caravan. Said man is currently sitting idly, humming some kind of music to himself.

By best estimations, it should be a quick matter for Kamui to dash to the safety of this room. That is, if she trusts the fact that someone of unknown allegiance is in here already.

Meat Palace, Full Moon Bear

Full Moon Bear: <I smell it in your blood, the sins... Thief and destroyer!>

-Within moments the nature of the beast is unveiled to the two Navigators-

-Rakash quirks an eyebrow-

It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.

Crimson Manor

Greeting the old man with a half-hearted bow upon catching sight of him, the shifted Runerigus peeks out the door, ready to grab Kamui too keep her from the master of the house.

Luckily, Kamui caught his eyes some time after realizing her room lacked the box. Katsuragi gleefully held up the identical box, Kamui flashing a thumbs-up before making a break for the company of her Ground-type.

Eterna City, The Other Day

"You use Wrap as well!" Xaster shouts. ChiChi uses her own ribbons to grab onto Christine, even as she is wrapped up herself. A short amount of subsequent attempts to pull away leads to a knot being formed.

"Uh..." Xaster says. "What do we..." ChiChi, realising that she is stuck, begins to cry. This makes a loud ringing noise that it painful for everyone to hear.

Wyndon Stadium, past

The two beams of power can no longer continue to meet in the middle like this, and so there is a large explosion that creates a lot of smoke.

When it clears, Sal is still standing. He looks into the smoke in front of him, where he knows that Kako and Kitt are. <Got 'em> he mutters, before collapsing to the ground.

Hearthome Contest Hall, A Different Other Day

The transformed Xaster looks around and sees Fantina walking away. The recent memories of her rejection of him flash across his mind, and he yells in anger. "Fantina!!"

She turns in time to see him rushing towards her, and her expression changes to one of shock. She starts to run, but her large dress doesn't make it easy and she trips. The giant monstrous Togepi raises its arms to strike her, but at the last second they are caught by some thick bandages. Kec then runs along the top of the bandages and hits the creature with a Shadow Claw, which does very little except knock it back slightly, allowing Hoops to let go.

"Xaster, I need you to not murder anyone," Hoops yells. "We just had this same thing like a week ago."

"Out of my way!" Xaster bellows. "She must pay!" He floats into the air, and the colourful marking on his new outfit begin to glow with a radiant light. He creates an attack similar to a Swift, although multicoloured, and throws it towards Fantina.

"Kec!" Kec slashes at all of the stars, destroying them and creating a spray of colour.

Fantina gasps. "C'est magnifique!"

"Why are you still here?" Hoops yells.

Mitchell and Gav cover their ears once more, as ChiChi's ringing cry batters their senses. Christine, however, is somewhat more used to this sort of cry, so she tries to comfort ChiChi even as both Chingling remain trapped in each other's ribbons.

<There, there, little one,> Christine says, imitating what her mother and siblings did to comfort her when she had similar crying fits. <It'll be all right. The scary thing will be gone soon.>

What's Chris doing?, Mitchell thinks. Is she rocking that Chingling to sleep or some- Truth and Ideals, that's it!

"Christine!", Mitchell shouts, with his ears still covered. "Use Yawn!"

Christine shushes Mitchell, then turns to ChiChi and Yawns at her. <Are we not tired, little one?>, she says, trying to gently rock ChiChi back and forth as best their entangled state allowed.

Eterna City, The Other Day

Xaster smiles apologetically at Mitchell. "Sorry about her. She's still kind of just a baby, after all. If you don't mind I'll just..."

He walks over to the two Chingling, and delicately untangles them. He picks up ChiChi. "Do you want to keep battling at the moment?"

She is still rather upset, but she has the presence of mind to shake her head as she holds back sobs. Xaster returns her to the pokéball.

"Do you want to keep going?" he asks.

Kaisei: "Happy to help, good luck in finding DS, btw."

-The Poké Ball opens with a burst of light and from it jumps Mirai, Kako's twin sister.-

Mirai: -telepathically to Axon and Kako- ~And I have a feeling that Sabrina's Gallade is a stickler for honor, so it would try to force any and all attacks from the side and/or back to become head-on attacks.~

Axon: -telepathically to Kako and Mirai- ~The plan should be to confuse Gallade, so it won't know where the next attack is coming from, and ensure that its blades don't cut through our attacks.~

Sabrina's Gallade: -telepathically to Axon, Kako and Mirai- ~Your telepathic communication will not avail you in my presence...~

As for Evelyn, her clothes are completely changed: a purple witch’s hat with a gold tiara inlaid with a sapphire around the base of the hat, just above the brim, a purple witch outfit in the shade of purple of the witch apprentice outfit worn by Onpu Segawa from [Ojamajo Doremi]^* This is how I know how to visualize the outfit., but wearing a blue jacket similar to the one worn by Arsène, her shoes turned indigo with little pom poms on the toe. Under her skirt, she wears a purple pair of shorts, not unlike Joybringer.-

"Well, I'm not so sure," Mitchell says, responding to Xaster's question. "It's not just my call. Chris? Are you okay to-"

~Done, Savior~, Christine says into Mitchell's mind. He understands it as her not wanting to fight like this anymore.

"Understood. Return, Chris," Mitchell says, as he draws her back into her Pokeball. Then, he takes out the last occupied Pokeball and throws it. "Edmond," he announces. "Arrive!"

<HUZZAH!>, a voice cries out, as a Machop emerges from the thrown Pokeball and lands feet first on the battlefield, immediately assuming an obviously self-taught combat stance. <I'm here, Sensei!>

"Ed," Mitchell says to Xaster, "would give me grief if I didn't let him out here. However, if you don't think your last Pokemon will enjoy fighting him, and if Hoops allows it, we can stop the match here."

"I'm happy to continue," Xaster says. "Come out, RiRi!" He throws out the pokéball that contains his Azurill.

"This is my first partner," he explains. "Now, RiRi, use Bubble Beam!"

RiRi bounces on his tail to get some height before unleashing a stream of bubbles towards Edmond.

Mitchell smiles upon hearing Xaster's reply. "Glad to hear it," he says. "So RiRi is to you what Gav is to me, huh? I bet you two are close."

Ed regards RiRi as the Azurill prepares his attack. <Oh, ho!>, he says, <Striking from above, are we?>

"Edmond!", Mitchell commands, as RiRi fires his Bubble Beam. "Use Low Sweep! Make sure you hit the moment he lands!"

Ed is pummelled by the surprisingly potent bubbles RiRi fires, but he still powers through. <Yes, Sensei!>, he responds, before squatting down and whipping his left leg in a sweeping kick aimed at where he expects RiRi to land. As he does so, he calls out his personal name for the Low Sweep attack. <Falling Tree Strike!>

Dactyl: -Floating- <Not much else to do here.>

-Jams the slate into the pedestal's slot, and our eyes fill with light-

Eterna City, The Other Day

"Yeah, he's my best partner," Xaster confirms. As RiRi falls down, he runs through a few ideas in his head.

"Use Bounce!" he yells. RiRi twists in the air, moving his tail so that it's between his body and Edmond's Low Sweep attack. The ball on the tail inflates slightly then takes the force of the attack. It mostly absorbs the blow, but all of the kinetic energy has to go somewhere and so RiRi is sent catapulting into the sky. With no way to right himself, he falls into the ground and rolls several feet.

"You okay?" Xaster asks. RiRi chirps in response. "Okay, then we'll wait for them to attack this time."

"Oh, the J-Team," Xaster agrees. "That guy there, right?" He points at Neon, who has just entered, and creates his rainbow coloured stars attack once again. He fires it at Neon.

"You know, there's this person on the J-Team," he tells the mysterious voice. "I really like them, and we're doing, like, physical stuff, but I'd like it if we could be something more serious. But it feels sometimes like they don't really appreciate me."

As if on cue, Hoops tries to tackle Xaster from the side, only to find that he is significantly stronger than usual. They have just enough time to laugh nervously before they are picked up and thrown to the other end of the hall.

The Stormchaser

When Ever opens the door to the Stormchaser, Vana is there. She looks, as charitably as can be said, terrible. Her skin is pale and drawn, her eyes are bloodshot, and she is dishevelled in her hair and clothes. There are still bruises on her limbs and neck. But her purple eyes are as piercing as ever.

"Hi," she says hoarsely. Upon hearing it, she takes out a throat spray and gives herself a quick spray. When she speaks it is in a stronger voice. "I'm looking for the J-Team. I'm a runaway from the School, and I'd like to help destroy them. If you'll let me." Then she frowns. "And also, I've been out here knocking for at least five minutes. And it felt like days. You should employ someone to answer the door, or something."

Stormchaser - Cafeteria

- Lux, after taking a moment thinking over his options, decides to see if he can get a berry stew to eat. -

Roark: Looks like Stone Edge did quite some damage on Banjo. Now, those rocks aren't going away just yet - your Pokemon will need to manoeuvre them until Larvitar is defeated! How will you do it?

Hailee: You know what? I'm glad you asked! Me and Banjo came up with this a while ago! Now, Acrobatics!

Banjo: Alright! Time for my secret weapon!

Banjo used Acrobatics

-Banjo uses Acrobatics to dodge all the rocks sticking out the ground created by Stone Edge-

Roark: Incredible! Acrobatics as a form of gymnastics to dodge the rocks!

Hailee: And that's not all!

Banjo: Here's the finishing touch!

-Banjo launches off the side of one of the stones, and strikes Larvitar, as the attack part of Acrobatics, knocking it out, making the stones disappear-

Roark: Larvitar!

Gym Guide: Larvitar is unable to battle. Banjo wins!

Hailee: We had a feeling if we hit you with just super-effective moves, you'd pull out Stone Edge sooner or later. That Acrobatics tactic was just to see if it could work and if it was efficient in Gym Battles, and it looks like it is!

Banjo: Alright!

-Hailee and Banjo high-five each other, as Roark recalls Larvitar-

Roark: I see. Well played. But can you handle this next Pokemon? Go, Onix!

-Roark sends out his Onix, which towers over Banjo-
