Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.
I go out for another contract.
I come back.
I see this weirdness.
What’s going on here…

Yo buddies, still tropin’?The Genshins have joined, and this time from another account, it seems... I wonder if they're from the same Tevyat that I've visited. Probably not.
I'm Stefan, and I'm the guy who piloted that robot around Mondstadt at the time of the Windblume festival, have any of you seen me? If not, that's fine too.

Yes! I finally got this old shack's internet connection working!
So... Where am I? Is this some kind of web forum?
(OOC: This character I'm RPing is Alabaster from The Demigod Diaries, which is a Percy Jackson spin-off book. Since there is no official artwork of him, the profile picture I'm using here was made with this Picrew character-maker.
I planned to end my Gil & Tarvek roleplay when Girl Genius got back to it's main storyline, but since that's taking longer than expected, I'll play some "new" characters early; though Gil & Tarvek are also sticking here for now.)

Please visit the "AITA" forum gameYou're in a network where everyone is connected virtually.
But what is it, specifically?
I...don't know. I think it's...the...um...inter...net?
Correct answer!
Gee, Klee. You're just like those people who host trivia games.
Trivia...games...?
What did you say, Qiqi?
Um...no. Nothing.

Everything that lives is designed to end...
My younger sister (the Klee from this Teyvat) is theoretically asleep, and if she weren’t, she would more likely be “fish-blasting” than asking trivia questions on the internet.

I know I'm young, but I think I'm old enough to know what the internet is. I was just asking what kind of website this is. Like, who posts here, what's the topic of discussion, all that stuff.

It’s a general discussion thread. You can talk about pretty much anything. However. Are you aware of the concept of the multiverse?
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”
So I'm currently dating Mina's classmate Shoto. He looks a lot like me, for some reason.
Maybe it's a coincidence. Maybe not.

I've... heard of it, yes. Is that what's going on here? Discussion about multiverse theory or something?
Oh, and thanks for giving me the scoop, sir. What's your name?
Please visit the "AITA" forum game
No, more like… people here are from multiple universes. Somehow, this thread can be accessed from across the multiverse. As for me, I’m Albedo, Chief Alchemist of the Knights of Favonius. And what of you? What’s your name?
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”[1] on my end it's construction stuff. funnily enough this one thread is far mor active than any of the other threads i can access
Welcome, and enjoy the stay! On my end, it's a wiki related to pop culture and its tropes, which I probably won't be able to prevent you from sinking too much time into. My name's Stefan, there's also Icarus and two other people sharing this account... this site's netcode is a bit buggy by the way.
wait, two??? who else am i not seeing
Super Sheriff. Dunno if he's interested in this place, though
[2] Icarus occasionally shares his research on the multiverse. He's promised an update a while ago, which may or may not come... soon.
By the way, Gil, Tarvek, since next saturday will be the last weekend before the holidays end, the museum (particularly its queue) will probably be really full. Do you mind if we postpone the visit to somewhere in the next week?

Thank you, Albedo, that's good to know.
"Knights of Favonius" sounds foreign enough that I don't know if you'd know what the United States is.
Me? My name is Alabaster C. Torrington. Yes, my parents really named me "Alabaster," I know.
Ah! You did it, Alabaster! Incredible!
...So who are we talking to?
Albedo, meet my companion Dr. Howard Claymore. I'll be sharing this account with him.
Dr. Claymore, meet Albedo. I just met him, and I think he's from another universe.
You’re quite a weird one Alabaster…
Name’s Morgan, what do you do for a living?
Yo buddies, still tropin’?(x3)
Next week? Hmm. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday works for us, but Thursday and Friday will be tougher.
(x2)
Nice to meet you, Herr Torrington. I am Prince Tarvek Sturmvoraus, the Prince of Sturmhalten. That's a city in Transylvania, which is a place in Europa. For reference, I also don't know what the United States is.

Hello, Alabaster! I’m Venti, aka Barbatos, aka god of the wind, aka that one weirdo bard.
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”
Alright, time to sift through the greeting cards:
(x5)
Nice to meet you, Stefan.
Just for clarity, is this "Icarus" you mentioned the Icarus, or is he just named after Icarus? My line of work means I need to ask.
(x3)
Name’s Morgan, what do you do for a living?
Hello, Morgan. As for what I do for a living: mostly just odd jobs from place-to-place, nothing permanent.
I also fight horrifying monsters from the blackest pits of hell, and I've done so almost every day of my life since I was a 12 year old, but that's what I do to live rather than for a living. I'm only mentioning it because it might be useful info for you.
(x2)
Hello, um... Your Highness?
While I've never heard of Sturmhalten (insert joke about Americans and geography), I do know what Transylvania is. I take it you're from before the 20th century if you've never heard of the USA?
(x1)
Hello there, Venti. You're a god, you said? I don't think I've heard about you before. No offense, though; you seem nice enough.
I would have thought you're a minor god, but since this forum is apparently multiversal, I can't be sure about that, can I?

Please visit the "AITA" forum game Named after. He's named himself after a constructor robot design that was used in the construction of one of his kind's first Dyson spheres, hence the name.
You don't happen to have personal experience with the ancient Greek pantheon?
(x1)
Unfortunately, yes I have. I'm a half-blood, AKA a demigod, so they're only my family. My mother is Hecate, the goddess of magic, but my old man Mr. Torrington was just a normal bloke. My mom's side of the family is far more involved in my personal life than my dad's side, which sucks for me. She's not so bad herself; it's her great-uncle Zeus that's the problem.
Please visit the "AITA" forum gameHoly shit, have you been to Camp Half-Blood???

I mean, I’m kind of a big deal where I’m from. I don’t really like to do any actual ruling over my nation (god of freedom ‘n all), but I technically could. I’m one of the Seven Archons, if you understand what that means.

“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”(x2)
Wait, you know about that place?
To answer your question: briefly, as a kid. But now I'm barred from ever setting foot there for all eternity. Something about me "corrupting" my siblings. Therefore, I'm in a shack with Dr. Claymore.
That's me! Technically I'm a ghost, but I used to be a mortal human. I'm helping!
Yes you are.
(x1)
That's still all foreign to me. I'm guessing you're from a different place with different gods. Hopefully your place got a better pantheon than mine.

I want to think I’m pretty cool, the Geo Archon is a fun sponge but a good person, the Dendro Archon is actually adorable and great, the Pyro Archon is just a little bit battle-crazy, and the Hydro Archon might take justice a little too seriously, but at least she’s just.
The Electro Archon tried to take away her people’s Visions, but she figured it out, and is doing better now. You really only need to watch out for the Cryo Archon. She runs a group called the Fatui. The Fatui are busy taking Gnoses (sources of power for the Archons), and are not afraid to use force to do it.
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”[1] The truth is a bit weirder than just me being able to see through the Mist (honestly, I don't know if I have that ability), and it might give you an existential crisis, but I've read a couple of bestseller books with a worldbuilding surprisingly accurate to what you've described so far. They describe the journey of Percy Jackson, a son of Poseidon, who attempts to save Olympus/the Empire State Building.
So... would you like an existential crisis?
Also, Venti is pretty chill. The people of Mondstadt seem to like him, and he's quite good at music!

But nothing seems to be interesting as of today...
What did Klee do to deserve this?
