Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

Ah, the Smoke Knights. They're elite special forces trained in stealth who serve the House of Valois — that's my family, by the way. They can be practically impossible to detect, nigh-invisible even, for those not familiar with how they work.
A couple of them serve me, and a few rogues still serve the Lady Lucrezia, but most Smoke Knights either work for my cousins or for Grandma.

Are they bad guys? Broadly speaking, yes.
We're all descendants of this king from 200 years ago named Andronicus Valois, and a bunch of us have been born through arranged marriages specifically for us to inherit his title.
I'm one of those people. I am the Storm King by right of blood. You don't need to call me "Your Majesty," by the way.
The problem is, I'm not the only one who can say that. A lot of my cousins would like me out of the line of royal succession, and would take any chance they could to "fix" what inconveniences to their plans I cause by existing. And even those who don't want my title would still like to have someone be their pawn.
Plus, there's the fact that (as I said before) royals have really strict rules on inheritance. Even someone who doesn't hate me might still dig up some petty little technicality that disqualifies my claim.

Man, I wonder what it would be like to be immortal, or at least have a life-span over several thousand years more than average. Also, I accidentally hurt my right thigh for some reason, as now it's very painful when I put weight on it as I walk. I must have twisted something in the muscle by accident. Anyway, speaking of films we've seen that old cheesy Doom film out of boredom since we were up late last night. Well, congrats to Atom then for winning your challenge. Right now, Mina and I are at one of the city's parks. There's a pretty cool fountain here with a light display. It's pretty beautiful.

I would recommend drinking lots of water and drinking chicken noodle soup as well. It helps a lot. I recently recovered from a cold, and it was partly thanks to drinking water and the amounts of chicken noodle soup that I was able to recover so quickly.
Anyway, Marnie and I are in the movie theater now, waiting for a screening of Infinity Pool. We've been talking about how movie trailers and television spots seem to be using orchestral trailer music most, instead of sound-design like they used to a few years ago.
It's especially prevalent in the past year or so. And this has resulted in studios and record labels producing more orchestral albums than sound-design albums, in the hopes of capitalizing on this trend. As a lover of sound-design music, I hope this trend isn't permanent, but my hopes usually get crushed very quickly.
Oh, and also, I found a new horror sound-design album that uses Middle Eastern and African instruments for its sounds. Seems like they're putting a unique twist on string-themed horror, but I still prefer industrial synth-based horror to that. Anyway, movie's about to start.
