I don't see why they can't go through the legal crap to get the EX characters in the game. They are popular to quite a few fans. Me included.

As far as I know, yes. But they haven't done much since the Tetris: The Grand Master series. The fourth title has been Vaporware for some time.

Tetris: The Grand Master series? I think that's what Arika's well known for these days

There are quite a few manga works in which Chun-Li and Ryu become a couple. But really, it's that fan-wank of "World's Strongest Man + World's Strongest Woman = Battle Couple of my dreams!". It's the same thing that keeps Superman/WW pairings so popular.

Recently, though, Capcom seems to have been pushing Sakura to be Ryu's main romantic interest, even if it's one-sided.

Nah, it'll probably be something like "Super Hyper Street Fighter Discussion Topic IV.5 Turbo Revival EX3 Plus Alpha HD Remix: Rainbow Edition ZX Mini Mix".

Ironically, Sakura's hero worship of Ryu was based off of Chun-Li in a SFII manga (the name of it is lost on me at the moment).

And this Makoto player has really grown to hate all those f*cking Ryus and Kens online. For the great love of Amaterasu, is there an even more boring choice then those two available?

Yeah, it was originally for the Turbo Grafx-16 but I believe there's a port of it for the Wii's Virtual Console

It's nature. The two are among the easiest characters to play as, Ken especially. Heck, I play as those two a lot, but at least I can say I'm strategic with them (and that I also play as Guy and Cody).

Beating down those "Shoryuken beats everything" guys with Gen's wall jump is always fun (yes, I can come from directly above you, and yes, you're probably going to be too slow to stop me with that shoryu) - but the most dangerous people are always the guys that are half-flowcharting half-actually strategizing. Because once you think you've got them down pat they show you they're not actually stupid.
