Tropers and Personality

These are my results (from the test to which QQQQQ linked), but I admit that I have some problems with how the test is phrased.

I think there were a few options that I was unsure about and I cannot say I like how one side of each type of personality seems to be good while the other side is bad (i.e. complex vs. narrow interests, reliable vs. negligent, fun loving vs. inhibited, good natured vs. rude, and insecure vs. calm). I also admit that perhaps another person who be a bitter judge of this than I would.

I might just have some bias because I do not want to agree with the conclusion that I am pretty much a self-conscious and unreliable jerk.

I took two. The Facebook test, given in the OP, gave me:

• Openness: 86%
• Conscientiousness: 63%
• Extraversion: 84%
• Agreeableness: 61%
• Neuroticism: 40%

At the bottom of that page, it listed me under the Jungian type ENFP

And then, at the test at this site...

• Openness to new experience/Intellect: 93. "You enjoy having novel experiences and seeing things in new ways."
• Conscientousness: 46. "You are neither organized or disorganized."
• Extraversion: 89. "You are extremely outgoing, social, and energetic."
• Agreeableness: 83. "You are good-natured, courteous, and supportive."

Dude, I'm a pretty well-rounded person. Although, I expected myself to be more Agreeable considering I have a trait of having more empathy than most people.

• Openness = 68% I dislike needless complexity, and prefers the familiar over the unusual.
• Conscientiousness = 48% I like to do unexpected things that make life that bit more interesting. I say that I'm not completely unreliable, but I've been known to slip up on occasion.
• Extraversion = 19% I am someone who is quiet and somewhat withdrawn, and who can sometimes find that people are tiring.
• Agreeableness = 45% I can make difficult decisions when necessary, and will point out when something is wrong no matter what other people might feel. I would say that I can be tough and uncompromising.
• Neuroticism = 90% I react poorly to stressful situations, and consequently worry more than most about them. However, I am someone that has an emotional depth that others lack.

Openness = 85% - I am always open to new ideas, though if it works well, I always prefer a familiar approach.

Conscientiousness = 75% - I possibly have some OCD tendencies, and I always plan in advance.

Extraversion = 26% - Yes, I'm quite introverted.

Agreeableness = 39% - Objectivity above all.

Neuroticism = 61% - I'm generally The Stoic, though with a lot of psycho moments, so I guess it's correct.

As for MBTI, it pegged me as ISTJ, which is also somewhat true (I'm an INTJ with a strong sensing side).

• Openness: 83% — Not surprising at all. Although I would dispute the "prefers new experiences." Not that I don't, but I don't go rushing in all that often either; truth be told, new experiences (as opposed to ideas) usually just scare the shit out of me until I get used to it.
• Conscientiousness: 30% — Not surprised at this, either, although their assessment of the "why" is off, I'd say. I'm not so much impulsive as I'll make a detailed plan... and then fall apart at the "do something" part and just wing it because I freak out. Unfortunate, really. It's partially why I like writing, though; I can sit there and think through the fuck-ups.
• Extraversion: 48% — Yeah, they're right. I prefer small gatherings to large ones, but I don't care if I have to go to a party. I just won't have fun while I'm there, most likely.
• Agreeable: 53% — Yup, they got this one too. I'm not good with first impressions, but after some getting-used-to I'm fine. Not that I will stop arguing, though. I love to argue too much for my own good.
• Neuroticism: 81% — Oh, look, I'm neurotic? I wouldn't have known! This is just great, though:

This from the test on facebook but the other test gave similar results. I found it really surprising how accurate these test are but I do think that marking your self down is a real issuse. For example I consider my self the worst organized person in the world while my parents and teachers constantly tell me how well how independent and organized I am. I know everyone will say that I am judging my self too hard but I consider my self 'bad' in many things even though I get the best in my class or As in every subject.
