I found the first BIG plot twist to be as early as chapter 5.

[up] SAME O_O

Just started Chapter 14. The HSQ is through the roof already. The very end of 13 had a big plot twist too, it seems o_O

EDIT: HOLY CRAP!

DOUBLE EDIT: DOUBLE HOLY CRAP! I NEVER thought we'd see missile again... least of all dead, and with greater powers than us...

TRIPLE EDIT: Okay, so his powers are different than we thought...

Uh...help with the chapter 14 puzzle? The only FAQ for the game seems to be missing steps. Who should I focus on first, Sissel or Missile?

EDIT: Ahahaha. I was too impatient! back i go again!

Chapter 9 and 14 are the worst parts for everyone, it seems.

I got stuck on chapter 14 thanks to my own stupidity. I didn't notice the umbrella could open again after I knocked it down.

On Chapter 16 now! The way characters have been returning, I'm half expecting to see that cat from the very first chapter again.

Finishing up the game, hope to get it done soon. Still working on Chapter 15 and I love how I totally assumed Cabanela was evil and they still managed to trick me.

Wish this game wasn't so short, I bought it yesterday for 30 euro and I'm finishing up Chapter 14 now, and I haven't spent all day playing it....the Steam Sale has spoiled me on game prices.

Was going to edit my post to say the game's still great though. I finished Ch14 and have started Ch15: I actually had a good feeling that "Sissel" wasn't the main guy's name, because the dialogue when he picked it up seemed to hint at it. Still, pretty big twist, especially meeting the "real" Sissel.

Just finished the game last night and found it extremely satisfying in ways none of the Ace Attorney games concluded. And I am an Ace Attorney fan.

I must also add that pretty much ever since the game was announced, I always thought "Sissel" was a strange name. I didn't realize until the epilog that it was an extremely Meaningful Name. As a cat owner, I always wondered why he was name after sissel ropes. Cue HUGE HOLY SHIT when the cat showed up in the end of the game.

I would really like to know, however, how Yomiel not only survived getting crushed by Mino, but also how he had no injuries...or why he'd spent ten years in prison. The worst thing he did was escape the police and hold a girl hostage. Not really worth a ten-year prison sentence and surely the mitigating circumstances of saving the girl's life would have reduced his sentence. Furthermore, Jowd revealed that six months after his original death, they proved him innocent anyway, so the crime he had originally been charged with shouldn't have affected him.

Well, he did threaten the girl first. All his other crimes ended up being erased from time, after all. But other than that, it was probably simply done for the Rule of Cool to replicate the painting scene... what a crappy reason to go to jail for, huh?

But yeah, The Reveal in that game could give a great many other games a run for their money. And then some. And now the waiting commences for AAI 2, I guess, have to keep the AA addiction going =)

Yea, I suppose, but I would have been much happier if they'd just shown the painting scene in, say, Yomiel's home or something. Or even better, if he showed up at the big party. You already have to wonder why his fiancee was so devoted to a guy in prison, though at least she turned out better than Yani Yogi's fiance.

That's more of a nitpick though. The game as a whole still satisfied me. And I dare say the comment about Sissel's youth might have been a play at a Sequel Hook, though I don't know how a sequel to this game could maintain the suspense of the first considering how much of that suspense really came from the game being able to hide the mechanics of the ghost world from the player.

Just finished it. (Couldn't play it for a week)

Haha, the major twist is it's all an elaborate Xanatos Gambit between a Cat and a Dog? That's wonderfully absurd. :P

Had this sitting around for about a month without playing it. Mostly because I played Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors first, and my neck hurt since I'm not used to the DS. This was good though. Beat it in one (long) night.

Maybe it's because I'm used to Mind Screw games and Tomato in the Mirror twists, but I actually called the major plot twist quite early on. As soon as they revealed that animals that died in the radiation got powers, I figured I was obviously the cat in the bag, who died from the first shot. Nothing else could have died there, right?

Missile being the mastermind was quite a surprise though. I feel like they could probably have removed that plot point without changing too much else though. Just make Sissel naturally impatient instead of imposing the fake time limit.
