Wow, this SSF 2 is actually really fun, though I never played the first to properly gauge.
Man, this is just a demo, too. Imagine what the full game's gonna be like.
Incidentally, I really love the stage selection and the track remixes.

Demo 0.9 comes out tomorrow/today on the 13th, along with a livestream
of the game as part of Apex's third day, and it looks great.
Along with other things like improved AI, new menus/UI and new and revamped stages, this newest demo introduces 4 more characters to the game: Samus, Jigglypuff and Meta Knight from Smash Bros. proper, plus Bomberman as a nice surprise.

Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.One year later, the next demo comes with two new characters and several other improvements.
I've been looking at this game and Super Smash Bros Crusade and saw that in both cases, one's strengths cover the others weaknesses. Generally, Super Smash Flash 2 has graphical and technical superiority, while Super Smash Bros. Crusade has a higher roster and what appears to be fully-functional palette swaps, and both have creativity and content covered in certain areas. I'm thinking that if the two teams combined their efforts, they would be a force to be reckoned with.

Main Character
This game's development really frustrates me.
I understand that these thing take time, especially if it's a hobby, but development should have finished 2 years+ ago IMO.

One event frustrates me. The one where you are Ness and you have to fight Luffy without any of the Mr Saturns getting KO'ed

It's interesting to see the difference between rosters in the first and second Super Smash Flashes. The first one was more fanboyish, as it had some non-game characters like Naruto, Inuyasha, Mr. Incredible, and even a few OC's, while the second game is a little more professional. I say a little because it still had anime characters, and in fact, there are more in this game, even though anime characters have zero chance of being in a real Smash Bros game.

And keep in mind that the only reason Goku, Naruto, and Ichigo were in were because they were programmed in before the retool that shifted SSF 2 towards being more professional happened.
Luffy was a popular enough fan request so they added him as a bonus.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Y'know what I would really like to see in this game? A Kingdom Hearts stage that tours through the various Worlds, much like the Galaxy Tours stage does with Super Mario Galaxy. The defunct Battle Cards concept could then be re-implemented into the stage like the Summons from the SSB 4 Midgar stage.

Wow, am I the only who liked the first Smash Flash. Okay, it definitely pales in comparison to the second game(what with the physics being improved, and familiar), but I thought the original SF was fine, if glitchy. I had some fun with it.
