The Open Door is definitely worth a look as well for two things:
Someone telling Keiichi to Get On With It Already and kiss Belldandy;
The Battle Couple between Ashley the Eva pilot and Scipio the Bolo battling Necrontyr. (Absolute crying shame we never saw more of them.)

A sort of experimental thing I'm doing, a Panty And Stocking With Garterbelt slenderblog. [1] It's done in character from the perspective of Brief.

Currently collaborating on, and beta-reading for, a Harry Potter/SRW crossover; world building is such a blast.

Disgaea/Mahou Sensei Negima crossover Disgaea: Gehenna's Holy Queen. Currently fishing for the best direction to take it in, because I have several.

The usual pimping. Takamachi Nanoha of 2814: A Nanoha/Green Lantern/((Negima))/Fate Stay Night/Fate Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya/Card Captor Sakura/a Ton of other stuff crossover. WITH PLOT!

I'm writing a Naruto/Tsukihime crossover, though nothing has been posted yet. Maybe I'll put a link when I post something.

Also, I really like Hybrid Theory, and it's startling that there's not a page for it. It's good.

Stargate: Equestria

Guess I'd best cross-post my own little project, especially since someone else has already mentioned The Open Door.

The work in question is The Doorstop, a sprawling Space Opera created in reaction to the above fanfic. It's a single-divergence AU with a somewhat deconstructive take on the original's premise - to say what that divergence is would be a considerable spoiler, but suffice it to say that it occurs prior to the events of the story, and has very wide-ranging repercussions indeed.

And yes, there are explosions. Lots of explosions. Plus some strategically-significant Gratuitous Swahili.

I should note that despite the amount of time that has passed since the last update, this is not a deadfic. Chapter 44 is completed (though not posted yet - I like to update in chunks), and Chapter 45 is under way.

As for crossovers written by other authors, my personal favourite is the Discworld/Harry Potter fic End of The Line. Other good ones include Thousand Shinji, a 40K/NGE cross which I believe to be markedly superior to its sort-of-sequel (though this may simply be nostalgia speaking - it was one of my first NGE fanfics), The Finale Of The Ultimate Meta Mega Crossover, a brief, pleasingly audacious work by Eliezer Yudkowsky that lacks most of the problems I associate with the author, and Unfamiliar, a Prototype/Zero no Tsukaima fic that is just really fucking awesome.

I'm currently trying to make an epic yuri crossover.

Question is, how do I pull off an alien invasion? I'm having the hardest time setting up the mood and how the Arume go about it...

They're invading through books by the way.

Actually, on second thought, I've gotten through that problem.

So if I have a multiworld yuri crossover, which ones should I pick? So as not to drown the reader with OVER 9000 characters at once, I'm doing it KH style. I could use:

• Strawberry Panic
• Touhou
• Mai Hime
• Iono The Fanatics
• Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha
• Grim Grimoire
• Puella Magi Madoka Magica

The fic's central point rests in the The Great Library, as well. I also aim to include notable couples from not-so-yuri places as well.
