I'm still deciding which sockpuppets to get rid of, though I'm making progress.

Here is a tool that will show you the sockpuppet estimate that mods can see. You must be logged in to use it. It will only show information about the handle that is logged in. puppet estimator

^^ Yeah, I'm wondering about that as well. I was told that I have (had now) 9 sockpuppets, but I'm sure that there were a few more that I'd made at least a year ago. =d

Can I ask for Cakman how many accounts he has? since I have his account, he probably has the two of mine, and I KNOW he's created at least one sockpuppet.

After clicking on the estimator out of curiousity (I don't have sockpuppets) and seeing a long list of IPs, I came across a strange sight. And now I wonder: Who the hell is Nightraid?

Huh. Apparently I share IPs with two handles I've never seen or heard of. It's probably because I have a dynamic IP (as opposed to a static one).

Out of curiosity how does this affect people who share the same range of IP's or use a single plc. Using that handy tool. I checked it has two of me one I forgot why I have maybe it is from where I work and one from home. The other is my wife. I am wondering if the auto ban thing would consider them socks or not.

"Shares an IP address" is just one of twelve indicators the puppet-finder uses. It has to find six indicators to declare an account a puppet. I'd rather not go into what the other 11 are.

And the estimator (in the link you gave us) only checks for identical IPs?

Arthur Burns, Bowser, Edmund Husserl, Ernst, Father Brown, GWF Hegel, Holden Caulfield, Husserl, Jacques Derrida, Johannes de Silentio, Karl Heinrich Marx, Long John Silver, Randy Newman, Richard Harris, Soren Kierkegaard, Stavros, and Us Chickens are all my sockpuppets. Due to having forgotten the passwords, I've been unable to delete them.

@ AHR: Cakman, according to the puppet-checker, has three accounts. Two of them are yours.

I remember them having a weird switcheroo thing last Halloween.
