• Cry for the Devil: The summoner, aka the original human character, is fully aware they are The Sociopath and how aberrant their thought patterns were. They got involved with magic to build a personal world purely because they were utterly miserable. It doesn't change the fact they are a selfish Serial Killer, but it does throw just how isolated and lonely they feel into perspective. It helps that should you agree to their deal, they prove willing to keep a promise and let the Unavowed live (albeit in magical sleep for now), so they aren't completely monstrous.
• Moral Event Horizon:
  • The wicked spirit, who is actually the human summoner of Melkhiresa, crosses it in the prologue when they murder all the innocent bystanders in whichever scenario you picked at the start of the game.
  • Joy Harrison crosses it by striking a bargain with General Zarug of the Merfolk to gain brainwashing powers in exchange for brainwashing innocent people to be a part of his army. If that wasn't enough, then she defiantly crosses it by attempting to brainwash Vicki's brother into killing her and then give him to the general.
  • Galene, the dryad of the North Woods, crosses it by forcing Kalash into a death match under threat of his daughter's life despite the fact he had shown her mercy years ago.
  • Should you spare his life and not remove his powers, Stanley Bates crosses it by forcing more artists to kill themselves for their art.
  • Roy Fellows crosses it by forcing Hugh and Jason to kidnap the baby Elijah and then threating to kill Elijah unless the Unavowed promise to let him keep the child forever, in front of the baby's father no less.
