  • That One Boss: Chapter 9 has two contenders:
    • In one quest, you battle The Godivas, recolors of The Bandshees. Here, on top of the devastating tornado attack and their self-healing powers, they have a move that forces you to dance if you're close enough. While dancing, you cannot attack, change Jaras, nor use elixirs and fragrances, leaving you unable to heal your companion Snacks as they lose health fast.
    • Another has you battle Stone Sentinhell, whose attacks are very quick and deadly. To make things worse, the AI tends to act very erratically in this battle because of how wide a range this boss's attacks have, which often leads to you dying as a Snack watches you, not doing anything.
  • Tough Act to Follow: The franchise has yet to take over Japan like its fellow IP Yo Kai Watch, whose popularity died down significantly once the Pokémon franchise bounced back with Pokémon GO.
  • Uncertain Audience: Despite the child-friendly appearance, the game is rated T for Teen and the dialogue is loaded with innuendos and jokes not meant for kids. That said, in Japan the franchise is aimed at kids.
  • Values Dissonance: Besides the innuendos that the English localization kept; the game also has a Sinophobic caricature that speaks broken English, and a trio of genies that are Camp Gay and hitting on one of the game's protagonists, who is a minor.
  • What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: The game was meant to be a toyetic kids franchise like a lot of other Level-5 games, and got an all ages rating in Japan, but the sexual innuendo in some of the dialog was enough to get it a T rating in the states.
