YMMV / The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Episode 6 "One World, One People"

  • Narm: Karli's very poor choice of words to John. Claiming she doesn't want to hurt people that "don't matter" is incredibly shallow, even if she is supposedly going off the deep end. And when Walker angrily asks her if she doesn't think that Lemar's life mattered, she makes it even worse.
  • Narm Charm: Sam's new suit is remarkably faithful to the one he used in the comics, but the dominant white color scheme looks a little bit goofy, especially with that helmet-less half-cowl around his head. That being said, the majority of Steve Rogers' suits looked goofy as well (particularly the one in The Avengers), and much like Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie pulls off the look with his confidence and charisma. The behind-the-scenes footage shows that the half-cowl is partially CGI, as no fabric or leather in the world could stretch, flex, and perfectly hug the face the way comic book costumes always do. The real thing would constantly be creasing, separating from the cheeks, or bunching up whenever Mackie moved his head, so some VFX had to be used to ensure it always stayed snug and seamless. That probably created a bit of an Unintentional Uncanny Valley effect, as we the audience might have noticed the costume is a little too "perfect" and constantly form-fitting.
