- Narm: Slasher is plagued with Bad "Bad Acting" and Special Effect Failure, the blood on Charles' hand is very clearly costume store prop blood. This is especially out of place looking considering that his Blood from the Mouth and the blood seeping from where Officer Klein shot him look fine.
- Narm Charm: On the other hand, some of the dialogue is so goofy you can't help but enjoy it.
- Vampire!Dennis: What are you gonna do? Kill me? With the hall pass?Charles: (grins widely and nods before proceeding to do just that)
- Nightmare Fuel: Nazi can best be described as "a school shooting + the Russian Paratrooper scene from Red Dawn reskinned to Nazis". Charles gets his eye gouged with a knife before having a gun barrel shoved in the hole for no other reason but to make his death from the gunshot as horrifying and painful as possible.
- So Bad, It's Good: Perhaps as an intentional homage to B-horror movies, the acting is stilted and goofy. However, this goofiness combined with the surprisingly good camera work for an indie film can be part of the reason to watch it.
