YMMV / Steven Universe S4E22 "The Good Lars"

• Broken Base: Did this episode succeed with having Lars be Rescued from the Scrappy Heap, or was it yet another retread of his previous episodes?
• It's the Same, Now It Sucks!: While it might be regarded as the best Lars episode to date, it still has the same trappings of the previous Lars episodes. The only differences that makes this one stick out compared to the others is Lars admits thinking that nobody likes him, as well as him not learning the same old "Don't be such a jerk" lesson again.
• So Okay, It's Average: Another subpar episode in a season that's been somewhat lacking, but an amazing episode when compared to "The New Lars" and all the previous Lars episodes.
• Surprisingly Improved Sequel: Even though the overall reception of the episode ranges from mediocre to OK, most can agree that it's definitely better than "The New Lars" and possibly the best Lars episode to date for not following all the trappings of previous Lars episodes (or at least, not being able to thanks to the episode ending with Lars being kidnapped rather than once again learning to not be such a jerk).
