- Awesome Music: The band's entire body of work has been highly praised by fans and critics alike, and has even been spoken of highly by music professionals outside of metal.
- Broken Base:
- Quite a number of fans aren't too happy with LaPlante and Stringer forming Spiritbox, especially after Iwrestledaabearonce abruptly disbanded following their departure in 2015.
- Some fans didn't like the change in sound on Eternal Blue, preferring their more progressive and technical-sounding earlier work. This only got more pronounced after Rotoscope came out and signalled a move even further away from that. The Fear of Fear seems to have healed this somewhat, thanks to its move back towards a more Progressive Metal sound while keeping the accessible elements of Eternal Blue.
- Some fans really didn't like their remix of "Cobra" by Megan Thee Stallion. Most people seem to think it was awesome, though.
- Crowning Moment of Awesome:
- Courtney's response to a Twitter troll harassing a teenage fan of the band.
- Friendly Fandoms: With Megan Thee Stallion, thanks to their remix of "Cobra".
- Fandom Rivalry: A fairly one-sided one with fans of As I Lay Dying. Many diehard As I Lay Dying fans were upset that Josh Gilbert resigned from the band and went straight into touring with Spiritbox (and later joining them full-time).
- Nightmare Fuel: The Surreal Music Video for "Holy Roller"
- Signature Song: "Circle With Me" and "Holy Roller". "Rule Of Nines" could also qualify.
- Spiritual Successor: They are one to Iwrestledabearonce - Courtney and Mike were both members of IWABO during their disbandment, and much of their musical influences are shared with IWABO's later material.
- Tear Jerker: "Constance". Both the song and the music video. Courtney wrote the song after her grandmother died and she wasn't able to travel to the funeral due to COVID-19 restrictions. The music video is inspired by the director's real-life grandmother, who has dementia.
