- Captain Obvious Reveal: Played for laughs. As Chef and the boys are leaving the proctologists office, the receptionist is obviously a Grey Alien in a nurse uniform and blonde wig. It's not until the wig is removed that dramatic music is played as if the disguise wasn't paper thin.
- Fridge Logic: Najix mentions there's different planets for different human races, but implies there's just one single deer, bear etc. planet. If there's Mexican, Jew, Asian etc. planets, shouldn't there be separate planets for brown and panda bears, or red deer and moose, and so on?
- Funny Moments: When the proctologist gets the anal probe to appear from Cartman's ass:Kyle: Are you okay?Cartman: (relieved) Dude. You know that feeling when you take a huuuge dump? Awesome.
- And later when it goes back in
- Stan: Are you all right?Cartman: (deadpan) You know that feeling when the huge dump you just took shoots back up inside your ass? NO I'M NOT ALL RIGHT!
- Hilarious in Hindsight: The plot of this episode (Earth being used as the basis for an alien reality show) also happens to be the plot of The Simpsons Hit & Run, which released a few months later. So in this case, South Park Did It!
