YMMV / Sonic: Night of the Werehog

• Ensemble Dark Horse: Lah, the ghost girl that Su and Uh fight over, has gotten quite a bit of popularity for her cute design and Gadfly tendencies. Not only has she appeared in various fangames, but was essentially adopted as the mascot of the Marza_staff Twitter account, with various illustrations and artwork posted about her, along with Su and Uh. When she made a big return in Ghost Tale, many were excited to see the trio again after such a long time.
• Fridge Brilliance: You may wonder why Sonic is still a werehog at sunrise. The sun hasn't fully risen yet for Sonic to morph back into his normal form. Similar reason to why Sonic was in his normal form during the nighttime rain, only to morph into a Werehog when the sky clears for the full moon.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The face on one of the paintings turns dark during the lightning, with blue glow coming from the left eye.
• Nightmare Fuel: While the short is overall lighthearted, the scene where Su first scares Chip by popping out of the mirror can be rather startling. And then of course, there's Sonic's transformation into the Werehog.
• Visual Effects of Awesome: The animation still holds up even after over 15 years with its very fluid animation and effects, visible furriness on Sonic the Werehog, and the translucence of the ghosts' models.
