• Alternative Character Interpretation: During the events of season 1 the Seven Knights (excluding Dellons) are seen as heroic and brave. Season 2 does a 180 degree turn where the Seven Knights' actions and motives are questioned especially when they want to sacrifice Karin to save the world.
  • Similarly, the celestial guardians can be interpreted as the heroes or anti-heroes depending on the players perspectives. They guard the heavenly word but think poorly of humans and attacked Fenrir's whole village.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: There are specific characters that are undeniably popular in all servers such as Teo, Dellons, Shane and Rin. However, some heroes are more popular in the west while others have much more fanart and popularity in Asia.
• Good Bad Translation: Da Qiao's name in the Korean server was pronouced as 'Sogyo' relating to the Xiao Qiao sister. In the global server her name was changed to Da Qiao and thus became the other sister. The devs said they changed the name to not confuse her with the zombie character called 'Xiao'. Still doesn't make sense to a lot of people.
  • In-game Rachel is said to come from a royal family called Agni, however, her webtoon confirms she's just a noble.
  • Many characters had their named slightly altered such as Orca-Orkah, Zahara-Jahara, Thrud-Trude.
  • Multiple character titles and bios were slightly mistranslated or changed.
• I Knew It!: Most content and heroes in the global version were taken from the korean server and thus players were able to guess which hero would release first or who was coming.
  • Global server did make it clear that skills and release order would differ from the Korean server.
  • Global server also introduced the special heroes known as 'Hidden Masters' which are based on different cultures and folklore of countries.
