- Awesome Music: As with the previous film, the music score is one of the best things about it. Princess Yuna's theme is just beautiful.
- The Ending song, NOW and FOREVER by young child J-pop group Folder is an upbeat and calming song.
- Funny Moments: Ghogo peeing on a kid's leg to heal it.
- Padding: Much of the monster action just goes on and on.
- Retroactive Recognition: This is Hikari Mitsushima's acting debut. She plays the main character, Shiori Uchiura. People might now know her for such roles as Sayu Yagami.
- Sequelitis: While the first movie was by no means a great film, it was at least a decent Kaiju film for kids with some fun fights, decent effects, and great music. This movie, however, is seen all across the boards as a slow, boring, Anvil-ridden mess with very, very little to save it.
