• Just Here for Godzilla: As is the case for many of the lesser acclaimed films starring him, even the most savage reviews call Robin Williams one of the only reasons to watch this movie.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The Gornickie family having a nomadic lifestyle while living in a converted bus, and the Munros' decision to buy the RV and do the same, predicted the "Van Life" movement a good 10+ years before it started catching on in the mainstream.
• Nausea Fuel:
  • The whole "emptying the RV" part, especially the sewage raining down on Bob, left many viewers hoping for a Gory Discretion Shot as shown in the theatrical trailer.
  • Cassie being served deer organs that were explicitly stated to have been harvested from roadkill, especially since she's a staunch vegetarian.
