• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • One of the pivotal events in the first timeline is the Arkham Massacre, where the Joker murdered nearly every single member of Bruce's Rogues Gallery so he could finally have Batman to himself. Over a year later, DC Infinite Frontier is released, and reveals that the mysterious 'A-Day' in DC Future State is the Joker gassing Arkham Asylum, killing everyone there, including Bane.
  • In the "Gala" arc, Jason describes the Cobblepots as one of Gotham's First Families, but adds that the family is unlikely to continue because of Oswald Cobblepot's criminal activities permanently shaming their name. The Joker arc in turn reveals that in Jason's timeline, Oswald died at the hands of Black Mask II, presumably childless. In 2022 (two years after the conclusion of the fic), it comes out in the comics that Oswald — having recently faked his death and moved to Metropolis under an alias — actually has ten illegitimate children, with the twins Aiden and Addison Cobblepot (who are just as nasty as their father) being named in his will and taking over the Iceberg Lounge.
• Moral Event Horizon:
  • Future Tim crossed this when he decided to shoot Original Dick with a gun that Joe Chill used to kill Bruce's parents (which even Jason at his worst would never do), after Dick desperately begged for him to stop.
  • Ra's Al Ghul crossed this with his plans to pull Grand Theft Me on Damian and torturing Talia, his own daughter, to obtain information about Jason.
