  • Doug McClure's credit inspires a reference to Troy McClure from The Simpsons. It might seem to just be a riff on his name, but in fact Doug actually was the major inspiration for Troy.
  • Tom corrects Crow's Tastes Like Chicken statement by stating "chicken tastes like dinosaur". Chickens, like all birds, are dinosaurs since their ancestors were other theropod dinosaurs.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Unbeknownst to Jonah and the bots, Dietz is played by Anthony Ainley, who famously played the Master, making him the third Master to get the Mystery Science Theater 3000 treatment. Doubly funny, since Ainley also specifically appeared in "The Five Doctors", which got a RiffTrax treatment in August 2017.
