- Adorkable: The floating Mario head's way to speak, countless puns and hyperactive personality make him extremely endearing.
- Awesome Music:
- The games use recycled remixes of tracks from Super Mario World, and they still sound just as good as ever on PC hardware.
- The Easter Egg "Practice Makes Perfect" rap song. It's very out of place but it doesn't make it less enjoyable.
- Designated Villain: There's no indication Bowser has done anything to antagonize the Mario Bros. in this game (Peach is a playable character, so he obviously hasn't kidnapped her) yet they insist on destroying his castle regardless.
- Fountain of Memes: The Mario head.
- He Really Can Act: This is one of the rare instances where Charles Martinet is allowed to really cut loose with extensive lines when voicing Mario, and the Mario head is easily the highlight of the game.
- Surprisingly Improved Sequel: While the previous Mario edutainment titles are questionable to varying degrees, the Typing games stand out and are the few to be considered legitimately fun while also teaching its users an important skill.
- Watch It for the Meme: This game is more fondly remembered today for the talking Mario head and his quotes, many of which are considered to be legitimately funny.
