• Crosses the Line Twice: As jerkass as Mario can be in the series, he manages to be funny.
• Cult Classic: The series is fondly remembered by parody fans and Newgrounds veterans. Their love is huge to the point they were excited when a 4th part has been released in 2020.
• First Installment Wins: The first 3 parts are the most popular ones in the series. Nevertheless parts 4 and 5 weren't know by many people (including people who have grown up with the previous 3 parts) and weren't able to compete with popular parody animations of these days like Something About and Pringus McDingus animations as younger audiences aren't interested in Las Estupideces de Mario.
• Fountain of Memes: Mario is this because of the scenes where he sings.
• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The series counted with a great amount of english-speaking viewers.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Part 3 has a short named "Another World" which parodies the musical video of Take on Me by a-ha with the real song included. Many years later the song would make its way in an official Mario media thanks to The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Fans even wanted the 5th part (which is a parody of the movie) to have a short based on the scene of the movie where Mario, Peach and Toad are driven by an ape to Cranky's throne as a nod to "Another World".

  • There are jokes about the animations being in spanish due to the Newgrounds website being in english.
• Nightmare Fuel: Part 2 has a scene where a scary edit of Po from Teletubbies appears.
• Signature Scene: All of the scenes where Mario sings to annoy Princess Peach.
  • The characters singing Puto from Molotov in part 2.
• What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: Many kids have grown up with this series because it's based on Mario, however, it wasn't made for kids in the first place. The series contains blood, swearing and dirty jokes. The series also plays inappropiate songs like the ones from Molotov.
