Generally, fans prefer the Darker and Edgier storyline and fleshed-out characters of Rock Raiders and the intricate set design of Power Miners; which one holds more weight depends on the fan. The color scheme is also contested; some think that the lime and orange colors clash with each other and aren't very fitting for an underground theme compared to the greys and browns of Rock Raiders, while others point out that Power Miners uses its color scheme more smoothly than Rock Raiders did.
