• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The series is made of these.
  • Including one that actually involves an alligator, and qualifies as a BLA-moment even in context.
  • The sole appearance of the Goblin literally serves no purpose other than introduce the character for a few brief seconds, and then he disappears completely from the plot without even meeting any of the major characters.
• Crosses the Line Twice: The deliberate misogyny is so overblown that it winds up looping back around to being hilarious.
• Designated Hero: Purposely attempted - Italian Spiderman is an absolute pig, a raging misogynist, and a cold-blooded murderer.
• Fight Scene Failure: Played for Laughs of course since it's supposed to be a parody of this trope.
• Memetic Mutation: The Head Shaking Guy is very, VERY popular among the gif makers.
• So Bad, It's Good: The entire series is playing on this.
• Special Effect Failure: As with everything else, this is done intentionally as part of the parody. However, there is one unintentional example during the fight scene in the quarry, when an aerial view shows a Land Rover to have right-hand drive, making it very obvious that the whole thing was shot in Australia and not Italy.
