• Catharsis Factor: Fans of Overlord (2012) who got tired of seeing the titular character and his tomb of human-hating NPC's doing whatever they want with no penalty for any of their crimes in canon will be ecstatic to finally see them get long-awaited comeuppance at the hands of Aizen and his cronies.
  • Case in point, all of the top members of Nazarick (even Ainz himself) are intimidated by Aizen's power from the very moment he shows up. And he's even the first person to ever truly hand Demiurge his ass, completely humbling the former proud demon and making him understandably cautious of Aizen for the rest of the story. Even the normally more hostile and insufferable members of the Tomb, such as Albedo, quickly get the message that Aizen isn't to be taken lightly and that no matter how much she may hate him she knows fighting Aizen head on would be nothing but suicide.
• Magnificent Bastard: Ainz subverts this while Aizen plays this straight. The latter is someone who effectively knows how to plan and read the minds of other people, playing a long game and able to put on a pleasant facade to hide his cunning nature underneath while the former has this reputation amongst the New Worlders but is literally just stumbling through his position and is powerful enough to get away with his mishaps.
