• Jerkass Woobie: Mitsuo is this as he is shown to be more complex than he initially appeared since his first appearance.
• Viewer Gender Confusion: Many readers have the tendency to assume that the author is male, despite the fact that the author has actually hinted at their gender numerous of times via A/N's and even explicitly stated it a few times (much to the surprise of a number of readers). Even with the A/N's, the misconceptions still continue.
