Archive Panic: Given the weekly release schedule of his many series and that most are at least half an hour in length, with some clocking in at over an hour, it can be overwhelming to a newcomer trying to catch up to the most recent ones. To date there have been over 300 such videos, with the Progression Series and the History of Yu-Gi-Oh alone being 100+ each.
Heartwarming Moments: During December of 2022, Cimo worked to get donations for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation after he had been silently dealing with Ulcerative Colitis for over 15 years. Partway through the month, fellow content creator ChaoticMeatball decided to help out for no other reason than the goodness of his heart. What Cimo said is accurate, "together we will find a cure".
Memetic Loser: Nyhmnim gained this reputation in the first season of the Progression Series, as he had an almost 2:1 loss ratio barely winning games in any era except for GX. Series 2 was designed to better prevent the steamrolling of either player and has been much more balanced between the two so far.
I will banish, a Light and a Dark. Explanation During GX era, Nyhmnim managed to pull off a strong Chaos core including 2 Chaos Emperor Dragon. This eventually resulted in Nyhmnim's most dominant performance in the series, turning Chaos Emperor Dragon into Nymhmnim's signature card of the series. Nyhmnim often declared the quote whenever he attempted to summon Chaos Emperor Dragon, turning it into his unoffical catchphrase causing it to get referenced in the community.
STOP PLAYING CHAOS! Explanation It is commonly believed that Chaos are some of the most competent deck in early DM to GX era especially with Chaos Sorcerer's low rarity. This caused a Complacent Gaming Syndrome in the first two seasons of Progression Series despite its less than stellar performance in the second season.
Terraforming to search Verdant Sanctuary Explanation During the Zexal era portion of the first season, Nyhmnim attempted to include an engine of Terraforming to search 2 copy of Verdant Sanctuary. The problem is Verdant Sanctuary is a Continuous Spell card, while Terraforming can only search Field Spell cards. While the Epic Fail never comes up in the games itself, it have become one of the most iconic moments of the first season of Progression series.
DM STAPLES Explanation The early sets of the game are notorious for introducing some of the most powerful spell and trap cards in the game's run. During the first season of Progression Series, Cimo managed to get a massive lead during the early stages of DM era, and at the time winner are exaclusively given extra pulls from a select set to add to their collection. This resulted in a massive snowball effect that give Cimo a massive amount of DM staples cards, and games would often be decided by a strong blowout activation of DM staples from Cimo's side. This is made worse by Nymhmnim's noticable lack of backrow removal in his card pool. During a Progression reaction videos, Cimo's activation of a given DM staples are comonly followed by playing Julius Dreisig & Zeus X Crona - Invisible in the background.
The Age of Gage. Explanation Due to Nyhmnim's... less than stellar track record, there's a contingent that will immediately cheer him on when he does start gaining a win streak.
Damage Step? Kalut Explanation Cimo went on a rather infamous winstreak in 5Ds era with Blackwings and won countless games with Kalut, to the point of it becoming one of his signature cards in the series.
"If you want 5% off any singles or sealed product, click the affiliate links in the description and use the code CIMO5!" Explanation The promotional clip that plays at the start of almost every long running series of Cimo's.
"Ahahahaha! That's a really good one." Explanation Cimo's forced sounding laughter in the first of his meme reaction videos is occasionally made fun of.
"HOWEVER!" Explanation Originating from the intro to the Progression Series, this line from it gained popularity thanks to fellow Yugituber Farfa, who would always draw attention to it whenever he records his own reactions to each episode.
It could literally be anything! Explanation Sarcastic response to any Set card, especially after the player who Set it had added it to their hand and revealed it. It's also recognized in hindsight as a potential tagline for his "Guess That Card" series.
Secrets of Eternity was released in January 2015. This set introduced the Infernoids, a series of monsters that can Special Summon themselves to the field by banishing other Infernoids from either the hand or graveyard. Notable cards in set include Farfa, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss, Qliphort Monolith, Uni-Zombie, Nephe Shaddoll Fusion, and a card that would bolster Satellarknight to combat the Burning Abyss Shaddoll meta, Stellarknight Constellar Diamond. Explanation The introduction opening of Secrets of Eternity episode of the Progression Series. This particular intro was repeated on stream by MBT during a react stream and have since been a popular copypasta, especially when the viewers used it as a Bait-and-Switch on MBT. Became acknowledged by Cimo himself when he reached this set in History of Yu-Gi-Oh, and he re-recorded this intro without changing a word (but you can hear him come close to laughing).
They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: While all of Cimo's weekly series are enjoyed by his viewers, a portion of them miss his old discussion videos and pack openings he would make which completely stopped around halfway into 2021. Currently, the only non-series video that Cimo regularly uploads are his banlist reactions.
