- Ass Pull: One of the campers revealed to be, out of all things, the murderer the Monster was seeking. With the Monster's attacks looking like meant out of plain evil, this Plot Twist is very unexpected.
- Sequel Difficulty Drop: Mansion is somewhat easier than the previous entries, lacking Luck Based Missions, having a predictable obby, and Easy Level Tricknote for the spider segment. Only the last segment, the Library Maze, is a screwup.
- It Was His Sled: The Reveal that The Nightmare is good, and that one of the Campers is a murderer. It's probably one of the only things you know about the game if you didn't play it.
