• Fan Nickname: Neighbors, given by Jon himself.
• Fandom Rivalry: Fans of The Needle Drop are not particularly kind towards Jon or his fanbase, often trashing his music tastes and fighting with Jon's fans in the comments. This likely stems from the fact that Jon and Anthony Fantano's opinions on albums they review on their respective channels are usually the polar opposite of each other. Interestingly enough, Anthony is actually good friends with Jon, and they even teamed up to review Big Sean's 2015 release Dark Sky Paradise.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Sometime in 2015, Jon tweeted that he thoroughly enjoyed both Roses and Don't Let Me Down by the Chainsmokers, and that he had high hopes for the duo gearing up to release an album soon. When the Chainsmokers' debut record "Memories...Do Not Open" came out, Jon promptly gave it a 1/5.
• He Panned It, Now He Sucks!:
  • Many fans of The Neighborhood weren't particularly happy with Jon's review of Wiped Out!, resulting in them spamming the dislike button and flooding the comment section with hate. It got so bad that Jon had to disable commenting and the like/dislike bar as a result.
  • While it's been long deleted, many people absolutely despised Jon's review of Transgender Dysphoria Blues, mainly because Jon refused to acknowledge Laura Jane Grace's transition into a woman.
  • His negative thoughts on Machine Gun Kelly's transformation into a Pop Punk artist hasn't gone too well with many fans, considering the countless dislikes on his review of Tickets to My Downfall.
