Bereft is a webcomic created by writer Andreas Ruud and artist Magnus Guyra. It’s a modern adventure comic aimed at a mature audience, and features elements of fantasy, horror, and other genres. The webcomic currently updates with a new page every Wednesday.Aura is a mysterious girl: Her mother comes from an island which doesn't exist, and whilst seemingly normal in all physical aspects, those close to her wonder if she's really 100% human. Howard, Aura's legal guardian until she became an adult, takes her with him on a journey to find a cure to her disease - the same disease that took her mother's life when she was young. Along with them comes Isaac, an old friend of Howard, and a ship captain; Nikki, Aura's gung-ho best friend; And Alexander, an opportunist studying at the same college Howard teaches at.
