Minecraft Zero, also known as Zero, is a Minecraft Machinima Fantasy Drama webseries created by Tuguim, and the eight installment of Minecraft Brazilian Multiverse.

The webseries follows a boy that, after entering a weird portal, sees himself trying to save a whole medieval town from Zero, a very powerfull masked man. He finds out that everytime he dies, he goes back in time and have a new chance to start the day and try new ways to save the kingdom.

The webseries premiered with episode "MINECRAFT ZERO EPISÓDIO 1 - O início", released on January 11th of 2024, ending its first chapter in the sixth episode, "NOS JUNTAMOS CONTRA ELE!! - MINECRAFT ZERO FINAL", released on March 26th of 2024.

Minecraft Zero contains examples of:

  • Art Shift: The series is mostly 3D animated, with Minecraft graphics and models, but it uses 2D animations in very brief scenes, generally scenes that deserve such attention.
    • The first episode opens with a 2D animation of Tuguim falling, that is later repeated when he in fact falls from the tower in which he popped up and met Zero for the first time.
    • The third episode ends with 2D animation as well, with Zero pointing towards the kingdom, initiating the attack.
  • Better to Die than Be Killed: Subverted. In episode two, Tuguim considers jumping off the bridge where he was being surrounded by the Shadows to avoid dying by their hands, stating with his own words that "it would hurt less". However, he's not brave enough to jump and ends up being brutally murdered by them.
  • Blank White Void: In the fourth episode, after dying once again, Tuguim appears in a white void, facing the back of another Tuguim. He begins to sink into the "ground" until he returns to life in the same place as always.
  • The Corpse Stops Here: In episode two, the guards find the head of the robber (who was decapitated by Lg) at Tuguim's feet, immediately assuming that he was the one who killed him, starting a chase scene.
  • Cruel and Unusual Death: All those who die to the Shadows. Mainly in the first and second episode, the Shadows violence is very explicit. They are depicted like insects that swarm over their victims, tearing their skin off, trampling them and then leaving them to bleed. Some of the corpses they leave behind are even found with missing limbs.
  • "Groundhog Day" Loop: Everytime Tuguim dies, he goes back to the moment where Luffy steals his raw chicken, basically restarting the day.
  • Hanging by the Fingers: In episode four, when trying to reach the room where the gunpowder barrels where placed for the plan, Tuguim has to pass in a room with lava floor, which involves a risky jump that he almost doesn't make through. He gets himself hanging by the fingers, but manages to get up and enter the room safely.
  • Resurrection/Death Loop: An unknown force makes Tuguim go back in time everytime he dies. The loop also happens to start on the deadliest day in the kingdom, when Zero attacks. Thus, Tuguim experiences countless deaths trying to protect the town, painfully remembering each one of them.
  • Running Gag: At least once per episode, someone asks Tuguim if what he's wearing on his bottom half is underwear. The first few times, Tuguim defends himself, saying "it's shorts!"
  • Slow-Motion Fall: Until now, it happened three times throughout the series.
    • On the first episode, when Tuguim falls from the tower and gets badly injured;
    • On the third episode, when Foka throws Tuguim from the balcony of the king's room. Tuguim only survived because he was wearing armor;
    • On the fifth episode, when the Shadows push Dina off the roof, killing her.
  • "Too Young to Die" Lamentation: In the first episode, when Tuguim was stabbed by the robber and left to bleed in an alley, he became desperate and unable to put together complete sentences, only releasing loose words about the many things he had left to do.
  • Trapped in Another World: Tuguim is an ordinary boy from a big city that after entering a weird portal in an alley, is trapped in a fantastic medieval world. His only hope to return home is to find the Cialita, a magical artifact of immeasurable power.
  • You Are Too Late: In the sixth episode, Tuguim and the kingdom's army fail to reach the Cialita before Zero, allowing the greatest of powers into the hands of the most destructive person they know.
