The possible truth about the Director's Cut of episode 29 and episode 31.5
At first glance, the fact there existed two extra 45 minute episodes seems odd since Nexus was Cut Short from 49 to 37 episodes. The Fridge Brilliance hits: we, as fans, only know it was cut to 37 episodes because of second-hand knowledge and because that was all that came out. It is very possible Nexus was meant to have a stay of execution and run 40 episodes. The 45 minute episodes are basically two regular Nexus episodes put together (actually, 2 would make a 46-47 minute episode but the Director's cut and 31.5 only had one opening and end credits, cutting the extra minute) and would've given Nexus 40. As for why Nexus only made it to 37: well, for those familiar with Executive Meddling, you can probably guess what happened (Nexus YMMV page already has an entry for Executive Meddling, so it's not like Nexus producers were strangers to the concept).

Junis Orange would've been a Stone Wall
Of all of Nexus's forms, defense is the only one that lacks corresponding form - Amphans is a Jack of All Trades (balanced stats), Junis is a Lightning Bruiser (mostly attack focused, with a bit of speed), Junis Blue is a Fragile Speedster (heavy focus on speed), and Noa is the Super Mode (all attributes are maxed). Therefore, it would've been the most fitting (and ironic) for Junis Orange, the form of Nagi Saijyo, to be defense-focused.
